In my honest opinion, Stolas and Octavia being separated is tragic, but it's also needed. I like to think Stolas has been sheltering Octavia from some things such as arranged marriages and bad parts of the Goetia. Now that Stolas won't be around, Octavia will be exposed to those things, which will give her a better understanding of her father. And perhaps this separation will help her grow into her own power instead of leaning on her fathers and develop some independence. After all, baby birds got to leave the nest at some point.

Andrelephous' plan worked out. He knew that Stolas would come to save Blitz and expose himself, so he could get the power and custody of Via to Stella and put Stolas into disgrace. Blitz was never the real target, just a means to an end. But in doing that and making Blitz a hero for the Imps, he might have set in motion the downfall of the accepted social order of Hell. Being so focused on his own need to gain power, he overlooked the longer implications of his machinations. Time will tell.

i am under the firm belief that lucifer created the goetia in this universe, his obsession with birds, stolas saying "oh my lucifer" similar to the imps saying "oh my satan" satan being the creator of the imps.
