RIP to the deceased, but I pity to these so called international media houses for always reporting only negative and bad news about African countries depicting to the rest of the world a false image of thinking that there is nothing good that happens in africa. They should therefore also reporting the good things that happen in africa

I have a deep appreciation for Chad, as a Nigerian with ancestral roots there. One of the tragic legacies of colonialism is the arbitrary division of communities, which has kept families apart and hindered our ability to connect and unite across borders. Colonial powers created artificial national boundaries that act as prisons, limiting our ability to relate to one another and organize for Africa's liberation. It's encouraging to see news of Chad's decision to reject French assistance in combating insurgents. This move reflects a growing sense of autonomy and a desire for African nations to take control of their own security and governance. It's important for African countries to collaborate and support one another in addressing challenges, fostering unity and solidarity for a stronger continent. Africa must unite; together, we can overcome the remnants of colonial division and build a brighter future.

**Brothers and Sisters of Africa,** It is time to open our eyes and understand the complex forces that shape our continent. While France claims to support Chad in its fight against Islamist groups, we must recognize that this support is steeped in a legacy of colonialism that often prioritizes foreign interests over our own. This so-called assistance is not an act of altruism; rather, it is a strategic maneuver within a broader agenda orchestrated by Western powers like the United States and Europe. Let us be clear: the Chadian people are battling not only insurgents but also the crippling chains of hunger, insecurity, and poverty that have persisted for far too long. The historical ties that bind our nations to these former colonial powers have resulted in a situation where our needs are frequently eclipsed by the selfish agendas of outsiders. The result? A cycle of dependency that stunts our growth and undermines our sovereignty. It is essential for us, as Africans, to embrace our power, our resources, and our potential. We must demand a new narrative-one that prioritizes the voices and experiences of the African people. We have all that we need to thrive: our rich history, our abundant resources, our resilient spirits. We must harness these strengths to reshape our destinies and build prosperous futures free from the influence of those who do not have our best interests at heart. It is time for us to take control. Let us unite, hold our leaders accountable, and work toward true self-determination. Together, we can dismantle the systems that exploit us and forge a path toward development that serves the needs of our own people. The power to reclaim our narrative rests in our hands. We are the architects of our future-let's build it now! **In unity and strength, we rise!**
