I have a Pyrenean Mastiff I live in Maine I rescued him from Florida he was covered in yeast sores. Hes healthy happy and loves the cooler climate. Best friend extremely loyal!! Mine is just over 160lbs. He's a beast!

Ho ancora molto da imparare. Salvo e vivo con cani da una vita. Randagi e di razza. Attualmente in famiglia ho anche sei maremmani e cinque labrador. Di cui due gravemente displasici . Loro stanno solo e esclusivamente sull'erba. Purtroppo non vedo in questo posto un filo d'erba. Mi auguro che esista almeno prato dove far stare i cuccioli.

Gorgeous breed but then I am a dog obsessive! I have always wanted an English mastiff but am now too old and infirm to cope with such a dog. I've had breeds from Pekes, utterly adorable to Portuguese Water Dogs, a wonderful breed and now, after many breeds over the years I have an absolutely delightful Bichon, a nice size of dog for me. Basically they are all wonderful from massive to tiny. There is nothing like a dog!

im answering late but there have been reports of Pyrenean Mastiffs jumping over a 2 meter high fence to attack/fend off a brown bear. my family had 2 Pyrenean Mastiffs and they kept every predator away from our home

Vi una vez como se enfrentaba uno a un oso cerca de Senarta en Benasque.Los pocos presentes sentímos miedo.No del oso, sino del atronador ladrido del mastin,tratando de defender el ganado que andaba cerca.Es impresionante.

when you talk about the names it sounds remotely like one of ours(died a long ago) tamarix jacarero. we called him pedro(peetu) and loved him very much. cats did too :) very warm belly for cats i guess :) anyway.. people all around the world say j and h and r etc differently so.. im just asking. beatuful dogs :) im a cat person but if i get a dog, its going to be pyrenean mastiff.

+Angie B There's also the chance that it was born that way. Some corgi's just naturally have a small little bob tail and some people dock it. it does suck when people dock a tail, but we can't assume that's what they did cause as said before some are born with no tails.

I've admired pyreneans mastiffs since I was a kid. I can't wait until I have a place where I can raise one of my own. I hope you guys plan on continuing to breed for some time to come. Thank you for bringing this wonderful breed to America and making this wonderful video.
