Ronco lifetime, thats right that was his pitch if it broke just return it & get a new one & 2 i had to get, but the second time i called person had no clue what was talking about & was rude me getting a new one & explained his commercials which she didnt care. When a person sells his company all his warranties are & no longer valid. So make a promise & it can be broken. I took it apart & fixed it & since 2003 2024 beat that,
The OG from the food network! This man is a national treasure.

Hey Allan Smithee, I'm a huge fan of "The Frugal Gourmet." Would you please consider uploading the full episode of "The American Soda Fountain, Part 2" from 1992? This episode of "The Frugal Gourmet" is the last of the "Whole Family Kitchen" series. In it, chef Jeff Smith explains the language used in luncheonettes during the 1940s and 1950s, and shares some of the food that was served there, including egg salad sandwiches, tuna salad sandwiches, and date nut bread with cream cheese and walnuts.

I'm a huge fan of "The Frugal Gourmet." Would you please consider uploading the full episode of "The American Soda Fountain, Part 1" from 1992? This episode features chef Jeff Smith visiting a real soda fountain from the 1920s. He takes some young people on a tour of the soda fountain and explains the history of ice cream and soda water. He also prepares some classic soda fountain drinks, such as sodas, milk shakes, frappes, malted milk shakes, sundaes, black and whites, purple cows, dusty millers, phosphates, floats, banana splits, and Brooklyn egg creams.👍

God I miss the Food Network of this time. Original Iron Chef for goofy competition, and then…cooking shows. What a concept.

These were shot in the back lot of HSN in Clearwater Florida. They shot 42 shows in seven days and were complete TV amateurs. The show was created by Bobby Flay for a then-relatively unknown, shoestring budget Food Network. How things have changed!

If you look closely, he doesn't really do too much cooking on this show. 95 percent of his time is spent pontificating

LOL, most cooking shows are like that. The food is usually already prepared prior to taping and its amazing how at the end of the show, it all done. I used to fall for that as a kid when I was like , 'how come they can have dinner ready in 30 minutes on a cooking show' and when I got in production, I learned, lol. Much of it is bantering and showing examples of how to do certain things and a few shows actually do the cooking but that is saved for later.

This poor woman, the things they made her do omg. She has to cook a full meal while having to humor random callers who ask her advice about THEIR dinner menu lol. Then she's half dying from the smoke of the grill plus she has to give advice about what's healthy or not and history of her meal. She seemed flustered throughout the whole thing.
