Thank you for taking the time and effort to compose these 7 steps. I appreciated the in house view of your own desk set up, and overall the way to spoke on a topic long enough to validate the substance of what you were saying and didn't just read off a long list of ideas or worse the usual success quotes. You are a good teacher of this type of material and took extensive notes for future reference. Thank you

I’m very grateful for the second half of this video. I was half way through listening to her on Modern Wisdom and could feel the “it’s another thing I’m going to have to get into” starting to emerge and remembered you’d done this and I’d only watched the first half. So I finished watching your summary and you’re totally right. We know what the big levers are. We don’t do them enough but are happy to major in the minors as you call it. I doubt I’ll finish her episode now. Thanks for your dedication to the cause, saving the rest of us from having to do these things. 😂🙌🏼

Is there a way to connect the task/todo in Eisenhower matrix to list? I like to do a kanban board and see what I have in progress but find myself writing in the matrix, then writing the same thing in task list so that I can use the kanban board

Religious fundamentalists and you maybe surprised but feminism is behind the nofap crap. Both groups can't stand the thought of a Man enjoying his personal time. Both groups want control over Men who don't conform, this is the crux of the issue.
@user-tv1sy1uk5fАй бұрын
WHy does it have to be a religious/ puritanical "over hang?" And why such a negative association with the puritans and religion? Just a group of spiritual people who valued self discipline. Ultimately the same thing people atttracted to no fap are seeking today. People can arrive at the same accurate conclusions without necessarily influencing eachother. Perhaps puritans recognized the same physical emotional and spiritual benefits no fappers receive today. The fact that they aligned that with spiritual practice should come as no surprise. Hindus and the ancient chinese had associated long term sexual abstinence for spiritual enlightenment and enhancing strength and vigor for thousands of years before the puritans even existed. Perhas there is something to it. Lets see..thousands of years of documented ancient wisdom and tradition handwritten on scrolls handed down consistently over generations, right up to the first person anecdotal reports posted today on the internet , all with similar claims, versus two thirty something year old guys on youtube who memorized some stuff and paid tuition. Yeah, I think I'll go with the thousands of years of consecutive ancient wisdom.

First of all: This is just really a TickTick feature video. .you hardly give any real advice on how to use it. Nor do you really show how you use it really. Beyond that, I love a lot about Ticktick but there are some glaring issues with it. That being said, if you want a highly customizable and capable Task management app, it hands down is the BEST I've found.. and I've played with all the major ones. One of the biggest issues is how it handles stuff with due dates. Anything that has a due date should be moved out of your Inbox automatically and put elsewhere. An Inbox is specifically that, the place you quick dump tasks. As it stands now you end up having to do a lot of management and create a lot of lists to put stuff in.. which you of course have to do. But where is gets really annoying is appointments/events. You HAVE To make a list called "Calendar" or something to just toss all your appointment (tasks) that aren't really a task into. It makes for some busy work. My situation is worse, I had 4 different calendars in GCal to keep track of various things (And I really need them for record keeping). So, in TickTick I had to make a Folder called "Calendar" then 4 lists where each one is a previous GCal. It works but is tedious. It's even worse when adding an appointment/ event on mobile. But luckily I realized that I can just use widgets to do it and specify on the widget setting what "Calendar" list it goes into. Otherwise it's like 3-4 extra clicks to add an event to my calendar. OR, you just have to again move it from the Inbox to the calendar list later. There are other issues as well. But only those of us that are super crazy and want super complex systems would ever notice the issues probably.

When adding a task in Inbox, it does not pick up date nor time, and it's not added automatically to my calendar. Do I need to add a feature to do this? I already have a premium.

When I choose the daily repetition of the task, why does it automatically duplicate the task on the second day? For example, I have a math project in the form of a task on this day. I run a pomodoro on this task on this day. The next day, I do the same process, which is running a pomodoro like the day before, and the bad thing that happens is that the application calculates the pomodoro on the duplicate task and not the task that I did yesterday, so storing the pomodoro is on more than one task that was automatically copied and not the main task. I want the topic to be like a routine of habits, the habit is repeated daily with the same habit and not a duplicate habit. I hope you respond to me
