Have you ever canned buttermilk syrup? Nevermind i just watched the video and saw some was buttermilk. Do you have a recipe for the buttermilk syrup?

@@branbrumom Golden Buttermilk Syrup:
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup buttermilk 1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda •In large sized saucepan over medium high heat add the butter and melt. Whiskin the sugar and buttermilk and whisk until it starts to boil. Remove from the heat and add vanilla and baking soda. The mixture will foam so make sure to have saucepan big enough. This is the recipe I use!! I hope you enjoy 😁

@@branbrumom yes it did!! I was pleasantly surprised how well it held up! My mom even too some back to her house and used them and said they held up great in her pantry!! 😁

Same!! I absolutely love butter chicken also tandoori chicken, but I usually only eat that in the summer when my husband pulls his grill out and cooks it for me!! I love Indian food it’s so tasty!!! 🥰

If you don't have a waterbath canner.

You can use your pressure canner like a water bath canner. You just don’t lock your lid to build pressure leave the lid slightly ajar so that you don’t run the risk of building pressure and you do the same amount of time as you would for a water bath canner.

I used cake batter extract with these ones my kids like that flavor. I have also done it with vanilla and rum extract for a batch. I have also used maple extract for different flavor options in another batch too. I believe I use about a teaspoon I eyeball in my recipe but my recipe calls for about a teaspoon maybe a little more if you want a stronger flavor.

I did end up canning it along with regular syrup that I made, I believe 25 minutes in the water bath canner and i had syrups for months I even gifted some to family! 😊

Oh that would be perfect for hurricane season!!! This was amazing for us, we have a family of 6 almost 7 everyone loves orange juice so having shelf stable is such a blessing to take with us in cups on the go and also not taking up space in the fridge. ❤️

I had never heard of pizza bagels. They sound very good. And oh no about the wax paper. I can definitely see myself doing that. They are just so similar and with my mom brain. So glad your thought of cutting them halfway. Worked out. 🙌☺️

I was looking at the box after I pulled them out and was just like well I guess these will all be pizza bagels! 🤦🏻♀️😂 you know my kids really enjoyed the mini ones you get in the freezer section at the grocery store but it’s never filling and you have to make a ton, so I figured I could make full sized ones at home for a fraction of the price and it would be more filling, also personally I think they taste better homemade!! 🥰
