We have a 215 Wake Edition and using the factory ballast do not get a clean enough wake to make it surfable. Were they using factory ballast? surf tabs?

do not remember if they were using the tabs. on the 215 use the tab on the side you are surfing and keep the speed to just under 10mph. Also you need to be in at least 12 feet of water to get a good wake. Can't hurt to buy another Fat Sack to mount on the swim deck for extra weight. I know on the 255 we found the surf tabs ruined the wake. Good luck and call us if you need anything 862-221-0717

How does that jl audio system sound? Any chance you can make a video of that?

the JL Audio is awesome. you can hear it clearly when you are surfing. Unfortunately, I run the audio off the same phone I video with and have found you can not video and play at the the same time. Fear not, the season is upon us and i will try to make it work. Stay tuned!!!

Remember when Scarabs were super loud bad A22 boats? Now it has 2 jetski motors. They're just as loud but now they just sound like a jetski.

How do you unclog debris that gets sucked in on these boats. I don't see any cleanouts on them??? Please answer

The 2024 Scarab 235 has the Sea Doo IDF system. Otherwise we recommend shutting the engine while moving. this causes the intake suction to release the seaweed while the boat continues to move forward. If you suck up a rope or similar you need to either cut it out or remove the pump assembly. Never unbolt the grate, it is through bolted with nuts on the inside. How did you make it go sideways? Did you have to change out the buckets?

forward and reverse, just slide in and out of gear with no throttle. Change the steering from left to right as you shift from forward to reverse and the boat will crab sideways. Pretty cool!

no they are not. the Scarab 215 is set to be replaced with a new model in the near future that will have hinged seats cushions

don't second guess the color, we ordered the first Scarab built in Amethyst and and keep selling them. We do have a 285 on www.jerseyjetboats.com in Amethyst you can see

Is there any other purpose for that extended swim platform other then maybe knocking down some of the jet wash for cleaning up the surf wake? And how much does it help?

What a blast! we can do 50+mph pretty easy with twin 200s in our Scarab 215 on a calm day but no need to go any faster as we are on a pretty small lake as well.

@@jerseyjetboats Will do! For now the twin 200's are plenty for our smaller lake but if we ever move to a larger body of water then we will have to look at upgrading to the twin 300's.

twin BRP/Rotax 300hp for a total of 600hp. Same engines used in Sea Doo watercraft. We have a 255 Open in stock with these engines and more 255ID's on order for spring delivery

The big difference is the Rotax engines are cooled with antifreeze not outside water. We also have more power than the comparable Yamahas

Scarab 195 comes with single engine only, this one has the 300hp. The Scarab 215 comes with twin 300's, good for 70mph.
