I had a pair of the originals, that I was able to get in either women's or size 5 in boys, and obviously I still think about them or I wouldn't be here. I got a lot of compliments on them back then and I'm glad they brought them back.

The laces go a bit further back making the toebox longer which makes it a bit harder to slip them on your feet but also makes them hug your feet tighter for a more secure fit.

That’s what I noticed they redesigned the toe box it’s a bit pointy and longer now the old ones had a more stubby toe I think these fit better than the old ones

I thought of these for work type boots. If they get wet or muddy. What do you think? Are they easy to clean? It's hot in FL. but these were $90 + tax at the mall.

Yes, I’d say they would be a good work boot. The material is waterproof so they’d be easy to clean dirt/mud off.
