Just listening to this now. It makes me think of my late mother and grandfather. I’m doing a show to celebrate my mom’s life through Neil Diamonds music. I thought I’d had all the songs picked until I listened to this one. This one is special and I will sing it with my grandfathers fedora that my mom gave me after his passing. He was a fisherman who used his hands a lot. He carved a lot of wood. He loved his children and his grandchildren. I miss you momma and Grampy.
