God one things was awesome is that I generally loved all these movies.

I had this on my Star Trek VHS. This got me so pumped up. I forgot about Congo!

I was like 16 when I first saw this with my two friends and their dad. We were all action fans. Around the same time, parents said to me, "You watch too many movies" I felt a little ashamed but then I saw this and was like, 'Yep, I do, and I LOVE them.' Now I'm a published writer at 44 and documentary filmmaker tryin to break into features. :)
