As a vertical planner, I FINALLY got the Weeks to work for me! I’m not super thrilled with the Sanzen but I haven’t had any bleed through problems so I count myself as lucky. Great vid. Thanks for sharing!

i’m so sorry, i have so many questions on your setup 😅 but i love it! SO haha how did you add the sticky notes to your dashboard?? did you use double sided tape or just the adhesive that comes with the sticky notes?

Great index setup. I use the annual calendar ( the small one) in front for my dog’s info - grooming, vet, worm pills, etc. I transfer the info from the previous year too for reference.

I love how you used your Weeks in 2024! Minimal and meaningful. Also, thank you for explaining the yearly index! I’ve been struggling with what to do with it and what you did totally makes so much sense. Great flip through!

I really love the idea @18:00!! Because I want to use the extra pages to capture the visual aspect of the day. Whether that be my feelings, thoughts (vision board or wants/needs, or even just any idea), or memories like photos of that day! I’m not too into trackers buuut maybe sprinkle them in with stickies? That’s roughly what I’m planning with my first ever! Also in cherries hehe can’t wait! You were the inspiration so thank you :)

I just got my very first planner (2025). I want to use it as intended: year at-a-glance, dates to remember page, monthly, and weekly, with notes section. I did set up a tracker on the first page of the notes section. Looking forward to this journey. So, I guess I’m a pick-up-and-go girl.

I think you write everything down in Hobobichi weeks. There is not enough space. Just write main events buy a journal and go wild with it. ❤

I feel so seen right now 😂! In the past years I have tried to jam it all into ONE planner and then expected it to be small and light. And I silently judged people who had multiple planner. Well, this year I am one of those people…I’ve been playing around these past few weeks with creating a sustainable SYSTEM for 2025: 1 Weeks for health/fitness/post meno symptoms, 1 Mega for an EDC (to be used with google calendar), a Sterling Ink B6Slim for social media planning, and a A5Slim Jibun Techo Biz that is supposed to stay at home. And then just yesterday I created a spread in my 2024 Sterling Ink N2V (Weeks-sized but vertical) that I have fallen in love with, which may now become my new EDC. So I hear you and feel your pain!

You have your answer. Set yourself free to be yourself in your planner. If it’s more journaling than lists and trackers then let it be.

Go and see Sam plans, paper joy ph and planning with Erin “different layouts”, they have great ideas If the habit tracker keeps you accountable and it works for you, just change the location to the middle or the bottom that changes the dynamic of the page

I was exactly the same with my tn inserts, I loved them for 2023 but when I tried again in 2024 I got bored after a few weeks and gave up 🤷‍♀️ My everyday pen is also yuk and broad in the new 2025 weekly, I’m not loving it and think I will swap to a Kinbor

Loved your video! I subscribed! We are similar as I pre-plan and “agonize” over what stickers I’ll use in front and back & what tabs to use. 😂 will start my set-up soon. My 3rd year in the Weeks and it’s such a great planner. 🥰 The first year I also got a cute deco rush to match my planner and was unable to make it work! Others make it look soooo smooth & easy! 🤣 🤷‍♀️ Looking forward to more videos and I also “bumped into” an aura Estelle cover to match my 2025 purple Weeks!

I have to set up as I use a blanket grid notebook. It's usually a stalogy, but I'm using a café notes for 2025, so I have to create everything!!! I would love to know what pen that is, it looks like it writes so smooth!

Have you tried the Kinbor planner?

Putting boundaries on social media is so liberating. I came off social media completely in 2016 just after the Brexit referendum in the UK when I realised I really don‘t want to know the politics of random acquaintances, and I have other ways of communicating with anyone else I actually care about. I do now have an Instagram account but it I follow only a few accounts, and a few months ago I did an experiment where I basically clicked not interested in any post shown to me that wasn‘t cat related - some of the viral accounts I blocked from being suggested to me ever again and I also added some keywords of things I am not interested in. It took me about a week of doing it, but now my feed is filled with accounts I want to follow and cats, with the odd advert in there too. 🤣 Well done for realising that it had more negatives than positives and stepping away for you own mental health. You can always go back later and set your own boundaries if you decide you want to, but you are doing exactly the right thing for you right now.

I got the 2024 gray too. But for 2025, I got the Lemon Water color.

i have been bullet journaling for the past 7 years but i am slowly growing tired of having to do ALL the spreads myself. Could I do my trackers like habit tracker etc in the hobonichi? is there enough space ?

You are not alone! If IG makes you angry then it’s not doing you any good!

I wanted to try something different coming from erin condren and happy planner. I bought a hobonichi weeks a coyole of weeks ago and fell in love with the thin and lightweight but durable paper. So for next year i got a n2, a b6, and a passport planner from sterling ink. Also bought a a6 stalogy and a a5 midori...ahh so many options but finding paller peace as well

I had to step away from social media a little. I haven’t closed mine but I limit the scrolling. I mainly go on there to chat. But I would also get angry at people who complained about their systems not working but hauled several planners at once. I also would get influenced to by things that I didn’t even like or want. I needed to take a step back to see what my style and comfort level is and I have never been happier.

I got the Sterling Ink N1 common planner non dated so I can use it right away. I am loving it. I was using my archer and olive as deep thought journal. I've never used it for bullet Journaling.

I took a big step back from social media when someone I followed and liked posted stories about buying veryvery expensive designer covers and then entered a giveaway in the next slide. There are so many people in this community who get by with dollar store notebooks that would adore the chance to get fancy package of items and I just felt -sad-. It's not good for my brain and it makes me a worse person I think. I love the berries cover so much, I almost bought it last year but I get scared with the PU leather - though it seems to hold up well for people.

I had the bunnies in 2023, cats in 2024 and I’m thinking cherries in 2025!

I’m also off social media, except for KZbin. I feel so much better!

Love it! I am my own worst enemy. I think when I feel settled I start to feel like things need to change. However every time I jump ship I come back to my weeks. I picked up the cherry mega weeks too since I have used one for 3 years so we'll see. Congrats for taking a break from social media... I often think about it, but haven't pulled the plug yet.
