Great progress! I'm sorry your friend was so unsupportive, making these decisions for your own good can sometimes redefine relationships. Glad you figured out your medicine and dehydration, that could have been bad.It's been a while since you updated so I hope you're coping ok and that your depression hasn't got too strong a hold on you right now.
@sleevedbug10468 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I am happy to say no the depression does not have me right now, I have just been busy and have not had time to put my videos together and upload but I made time today to sit down and make it and upload. Now I just have to make time to get caught up on other peoples videos.

Hey sweets! congrats on the loss. The water is definitely a daily struggle, and I completely understand where you are coming from. I think you may just have to keep on keeping on, until you can handle taking more water in. Don't beat yourself up too much, and just keep on trying. It will get easier as we go. Love your face!

+VSG BrittBratt Thank you! I really hope i can get a better grip on the water. I was perfect at getting all my water in the first month but the last few weeks since I was taken off restrictions and can do things it is way harder. I know it will get better I am just nervouse and a bit scared I will get dehydrated, and I do not want that!

What a great loss! You are doing great! You could technically puree anything up with enough power LOL! I know I pureed up some Chick-fil-A because I was craving it. Maybe a little bit better than McDonalds but still, I know the struggle! I've noticed a lot of the jerkys, cheese sticks, etc at convenience stores don't have the nutritional info on it and it really sucks!

I love the shirt!! I have an idea...once you show us what the shirt looks like on, you should try it on in a video every month because that way you will have a visual timeline of your weightloss!!
@sleevedbug10468 жыл бұрын
+Melissa Marie Thank you! Omg, yes, that is a great idea to keep track of how the shirt fits as time goes on! I think I will do that, thanks for idea!

Aww Im so sorry you have been through so much with people spreading lies and gossip!! People can be so mean! Im also shy in person but after I get to know someone I open up. :) I love those earrings!! You are very talented and as soon as you said Jack Skellington I knew I had to go check out your other channel! Also I think you should definitely publish the book you write for your nephew, I know my daughter would love to read it. You are a woman of many talents. I have not yet had the surgery I just now am starting my journey with the insurance loop holes and I have my first consult with the surgeon on the 24th of this month. so im thinking I probably am looking at September or October until I have surgery. Im very nervous but more excited! I have been looking into surgery for two and a half years and I finally decided the clock is ticking and im not.getting any younger so I need to just do it! You seem so sweet and im so happy I saw your post or comment about you having this channel. I cant wait to hear your 4 week progress video!
@sleevedbug10468 жыл бұрын
+Melissa Marie Thank you so much for the kind words I needed to hear them today! I was nervous about having the surgery too but was more excited. I was always against it at first but then I did research and started watching videos here on KZbin and decided to go for it. I never thought I was going to have it because there was a hang up between the two doctor's offices, one needed a paper from the other and they kept sending the wrong one and then the lady from one office was nasty to me and I had to go after about three months of putting up with them saying Oh yes we sent it but they never did, I finally went in person and made them give me the right paper and took it to the other doctor myself. I would have been able to have the surgery sooner if they could have gotten their crap together. At least I finally had the surgery, so I am happy now about it!

Glad you are doing so well! It will take time to get used to, but i think as we are able to eat more and more foods, it will be easier to get more protein and less carbs. On liquids only, its hard to get in what we need.

KENTUCKY LOVE.....YAY!!!!! Oh my heck you're so close to me! We should get together face to face sometime soon. Eeeeeeeek! I am praying you are healing fast. I am so excited about your update. You look great. I wish I didn't have a scale at home. Lol it would prevent me from weighing so frequently. Measure your inches if you haven't already....Do it NOW! Girl I'm the same way I always want to see my surgeon. I understand that completely.

Focus on your protein. Get in all your protein, and you will heal much quicker. I do 100+ grams a day EVERYDAY! It will help you so much. Awwwww lamb chop! 💜❤️💜

+Looking Up and Letting Go Getting together face to face sounds like fun, I do not drive to far from home and I have a friend who drives when we go places, but meeting sounds great,maybe sometime in the summer. I think I am healing fast, I am healing great! I have a few sore spots here and there still but I am doing great. My dad just bought me a scale at a flea market so now I can weigh weekly but I might weigh every other week I am not sure yet. I will be taking new measurements on my one month surgiversary which is the 17th.

+Looking Up and Letting Go I am working on my protein, it is closer to the 65 my doctor wants but the protein powder in stuff makes me gag and almost throw up and it only makes me ill like that when I use protein powder I think it is due to the taste.

+Sleeved Bug go online and order GENEPRO! It is odorless, flavorless, colorless. You can put it in hot foods and drinks or cold food and drinks. It has 30 grams of protein in one tablespoon! Finding Genepro has been a game changer for me. We had family over yesterday and for dessert we had sugar free hello with berries in it (I put genepro in the jello) then we topped it with homemade whipped cream (also put genepro in whipped cream) so for dessert everyone had 15g of protein in their dessert portion. I told everyone after they had eaten. Nobody could believe it, because it didn't alter the taste ANY! There's 30 Tablespoons in the container. Highly recommend it. I ordered mine off Amazon. YAY I'm so glad you got a scale. Yay....this summer sounds great. Seriously look into increasing your protein it will help you lose more steadily all along and it will lessen your loose skin. :) increases elasticity.

+Looking Up and Letting Go I m sure I have probly herd of Genepro but i have forgotten about it, I am going to look into that, because I need something that is tasteless.

KENTUCKY LOVE.... I am so excited for you. I can't wait to see your update video. Hugs beautiful. You have a supportive person here cheering you on. I'm so sorry you don't have so much support there. It makes it tougher, but as you said it's THEIR problem. Sometimes people who are in the same boat as us are kind of angry or frustrated that they will be left or abandoned. I have had to deal with quite a bit of that myself. Greek Yogurt, cheese sticks, tuna salad made with Greek yogurt instead of mayo, chicken salad made with Greek yogurt, and fish are my faves now! :) Girl I am a dress girl. I own a clothing business. I mostly carry dresses! When it comes time for that let me know, and I will give a discount. Add me on Facebook? I'm Lisa Tuala.

+Looking Up and Letting Go Thank you! Oh, Greek yogurt in Tuna or chicken salad that sounds good, I would have never thought of that one, I heard of putting mustard in them but that did not sound that great to me. I can't wait to try those with the Greek yogurt. I will certainly be contacting you for a dress when the time comes, Thank you!

Welcome to the community. I'm glad you had the guts to put yourself out there. Building a good support system is key to success. Changing the mindset from carbs to protein is tough. The best way to deal with it is go through your house and get rid of anything that doesn't support your goals. That means no cookies, candy, crackers, bread, cereal, or even things like starchy vegetables (like carrots, potatoes, peas) and fruit. Stock your fridge with lunch meat, cheese, cottage cheese, and Greek yogurt. Stock your cupboard with some tuna packets (there are many good varieties of flavors out there), protein shakes, and beef jerky. It is a huge change in the way you will need to think about food. Also, don't be so worried about the surgery. The truth is if you have a good surgeon the risk of the surgery is about the same as having your gallbladder removed.
@sleevedbug10468 жыл бұрын
+Gastric Tiger Thank you! I need all the support I can get because I am so committed to doing what I need to do to be successful and stay that way. I have gotten rid of a lot the last few weeks. I have a tough time with not being able to eat just any veggie or fruit because I love most all veggies and most fruits and having to say no cant have a carrot is hard because that was always my go to healthy snack especaily while quitting smoking and after. All the things you said to stock up on are things I like already and can not wait till I get to the stage when I can have them again I love beef jerky but until I started watching other sleever's videos I never thought about it being ok to have after surgery. I had a great surgeon and I am glad the surgery is out of the way and I am healing, it is like having the gallbladder removed it does not feel much different.
