I love the energy and confidence of the guy when he talks about this tech. He really believes this is the best 3D printing tech. And it really looks great!

It didn't work exactly as you said, but playing around with different settings within the compatability worked out. So, you deserve the thanks for leading me in the right direction

Thank you for the video! But how can we know how the accurate are the results ? I mean, if I want to compare the stresses in nodes and in elements. What If we get some 30% - 40% difference ?

Hello, Thank you for this super helpful video. A question: Is there a away with the dispatcher to rename the related drawing file with the SolidWorks file? Thank you

Outdated, even though the solution works so far that the icons that are too small are at normal size, the resolution suddenly changes (from 4k to not even HD).

Thanks! The third method is really interesting. Quite usual that I need to perform reverse engineering of routing. So, I have a 2D drawing of a cable and need to issue assembly documentation with visualisation how the cable is placed. I can make a 3D model of cable. Place it later on the assembly with fixed length. And finally make routing that it will look good.

Can I create a table for different diameters, but using some Excel formula to automate the choice of length, or do I have to put an infinite number of length lines for each diameter? Ex.: -Cast Iron Flanged DN200, L= [250,500,700...] -Cast Iron Flanged DN250, L= [250,500,700...] or -Cast Iron Flanged DN200, L=250 -Cast Iron Flanged DN200, L=500 -Cast Iron Flanged DN200, L=700 -Cast Iron Flanged DN250, L=250 -Cast Iron Flanged DN250, L=500 -Cast Iron Flanged DN250, L=700

This time it worked. Now I'll add 1x's and proceed with the entrance stairs with platforms that I need, and I also have a steel building coming up. Great video, Jordan. I didn't stick around for the Structural Systems. This is what I need. I have some ends that need massaging, like boards that go around hinges etc, but that will come later. Thanks again.

When I made my profile for the 2x4. I used the center rectangle and added radii on the corners, which is much more realistic. I can't add a screen capture nor add a file. I save my .sldlfp in a similar new Lumber folder with name DimLumber. sldlfp (for Dimensional Lumber, rather than "Structural". I get a warning: "This library feature part may (may? Does it or not!) contan feature that are not relate to the the selected features. Do you want to create a simplified library feature part that does not include unrelated features? Please note that this may cause rebuild errors in this libraray feature part. yes or no selection. What may cause rebuild errors? Creating a simplified LFP or keeping the un-related features? Who says that they are not related? I used them creating the sketch so they must be related in some way. Come on SW, give me some information to be able to make this decision! I chose no. I want the radii. I also took out the end point crossed construction lines and got the same error. Evidently what is not related is the radii.

For the love of God, why is Weldment Profiles so far down? Everything SW does has that convoluted path that drives me crazy. I just spent way too much time getting Pine 1x's and 2x's that I use regularly configured per your instructions. Evidently I missed something. My directory structure is somewhat different: Weldment profiles from locations in options is this: D:\PALLCDesignLIbrary\WeldmentProfiles, and DimLumber.SLDLFP ( Dimension Lumber instead of structural lumber) is here: ...D:\PALLCDesignLibrary\WeldmentProfiles\Structural Lumber. I guess I'll try GoE tech support to find the error. I have talked to you, Jordan, on tech support. You always told me more than I needed to know, and in this video you point out all the things that follow up, just like on the phone. I really appreciate that. I'll finish the video after I get the problem figured out. Great video!!
