Great essay! I totally agree. Portal has a great the gameplay, great writing, storyline, character development, the music and sound design is remarkable. On top of that, Cave Johnson and Wheatley are voiced by two iconic actors: J K Simmons and Stephen Merchant. And not to mention the fan base. Many people say Portal is more popular than Half-Life. I wouldn’t say that is true, but for sure Portal has a big, devoted and clever fan base.

Again, the issue of pressing the jump key while running on the speed gel 🙂 No need to do that because you lose speed. Nevertheless, great gameplay!

I like your Portal series. You solve them very very fast, great job. Regarding the jump that you were trying to do around 6:30, the reason why you could not make it was because you kept pressing the jump key. You should have just continue walking/runing on the orange gel without jumping because you were actually fast enough to manage the jump. By pressing the jump key you were actually breaking the run and you were losing speed. I'm happy you love this game, it's my favorite. GG

I LOVED Portal 2, this game was amazing. I did a 5 min video on why portal is the best puzzle game ever created! I appreciate the support! I eventually figured out that jumping was bad xD it's funny what simple things stump us...

Hi! Started reading Phoenix Wright a few days ago, and decided to watch your videos on episodes I've already finished. An important remark I'd like to point out is that the music is too loud compared to your voice. I don't know if you fixed it in the next episodes but I'd like the in-game sounds to be quieter

yes I agree this one had the music too loud, It's a tricky balance with the switch! They are quieter in the future ones I believe.

@LegallyGaming I watched the video and I truly enjoyed your remarks on the real law system and its differences with what we see in the novel. This is your thing that makes your videos different from other letsplays and interesting to watch even after seeing the cases in the novel yourself. Please, keep up with pointing those things out! Also, at one point there was a question about proving that the clock said the incorrect time and you answered it only from the third attempt (the answer how to prove it was to listen to it in the court). I believe it happened so because it's an inappropriate procedure that would not happen in real life or something, and you were confused. At least it seemed so to me and it was funny. Anyways, I'll try watching your other videos on Phoenix Wright!

Yep! I do continue to do that in varying degrees throughout the playthrough! Some stories allow for it to happen easier xD some are just insane! It's also easier when I'm asked specific questions so you'll learn some things about the Canadian Criminal Law System (which is like 80% the same as the American system). I find some of the puzzles so not intuitive for me and my law brain xD

hmmm, I started when it came out, played for a couple years then stopped. Then picked it back up for a year. Then recently I started when the Titans expansion happened and have been playing since! So about 5 years total!

Pipsi paladin fell off for me. Played it a lot last season. There's not enough new cards in this deck to warrant giving it a try with so many different architypes out there. But I did open Lumia in my packs :).

Definitely a tricky matchup! You'd be relying on enough chip damage early on in the game to finish it off later, so I'd get aggressive. Amitus is also tricky for them to deal with so If you can get multiple of them through Conman, that's also a way.

From my experience against them, you have two options. Option 1: you stomp it early at tempo with Living Horizons, Conmans, Pipsi at turn 5, etc, so you don't give them the chance to reach all the armor gain and Odyn. Option 2: you wait to get Wind Lord's Horn, keep all the damage you can so you can deal double the damage with your 1 mana divine shield spells. With that, I had the luck to reach diamond 1 from diamond 6. Hope it helps you with those kinds of decks.

I've had insane consistency with Lynessa and using Sea Shills to discount any card I want vs Holy Cowboy (Lumia vs Aggro is hilarious). Conniving Conmen to replay Lumia, Amitus or Libram of Faith. Liadrin & Leeroy for lategame bombs. Heck if I can get Lynessa down and x2 cast all my Librams, even a Silver Hand Recruit can win the game. Couple of glowsticks for good measure. Not sure what you'd drop, but maybe food for thought!

Conmen are definitely flimsy... I also agree with the expensive Libram, it feels too clunky and slow when not 0-cost, and 6 is really hard to discount...

Anything you're looking forward to in particular for Dark Beyond? I'm pumped for the mana cheat legendary that lets you use corpses for your next card. I've seen that the corpses you spend actually buff Necrotic Explosion before it casts.

@@LegallyGaming If you do the quest rogue caverns below it will make them five five including it the sparky's so you'll have a beefier combo and if you do the one that summons a copy of this minion at the end of the turn Mec that can be magnetized You got a board lockdown with the elusive magnetic sparky and reborn and life steal and Taunt poison for added measure lol

@@LegallyGamingalso I just remembered that there was a minion that specifically allows you to deal one damage to it and it gives the minion spell damage If you can figure out to make multiple copies or the way to multiply this effect we would essentially have a passive spell damage as long as the minion was on the board

I’ve been using Shaffar to great effect; in my own hand buff DK list. It’s not difficult to multiply and continuously shift around Shaffar’s Beacon, using Corpsicle. Gigantic Darkthorn Quilters are my “real” win condition. Stats in the mid 20’s are easily accomplished, and my largest Quilter yet has been 74/76. That’s 24x Shaffar’s Beacon, with zero additional buffs. Been crushing Warriors with it. Good stuff. Love Shaffar. 👍

I played highlander warrior to diamond 5 and then face hunter from diamond 5 to legend (16-1) winrate. Once I got to legend I proceeded to go 50/50 because of all the renethal decks 😂, so I swapped back to highlander warrior

I actually quite like Renethal in the meta right now. I'm not even using him; been clapping cheeks from P10 to D5 today with Gaia Paladin. 30 cards keeps it slim, so I feel like I often win games because the enemy has a diluted card pool.

you cannot do ONLY control atm. You need to have some value or tempo baked into your deck because there are some value decks out there that will simply outlast your control deck. It's the classic rock-paper-scissors, aggro beats value, value beats control, control beats aggro. Right now aggro is not popular due to Renathal, 40 health is just too much.

Couldn’t agree more… Renathal causes the games to be way too long, so laddering takes too much time. I prefer my card games to be max 20mins (if I play a control deck)
