He probably studied intensively for a short period, like 1-2 months before the exam, while normally studying 12-13 hours. When I was preparing for JEE, I studied 8-9 hours throughout the year, but in the last month, I regularly studied 16-17 hours, and I achieved a rank of 192 in JEE Advanced. I wouldn't have needed to study so much if I hadn't developed a gaming habit before 10th grade, but what's done is done. So, studying like that for a short time can work, but it’s not feasible for a normal person to maintain it year-round, especially if they aren't genetically gifted with less need for sleep...😊
