Where does it say Mary was born of immaculate conception? Like to really know more about the Catholic false church? Are you willing to really look into it? kzbin.info/www/bejne/i3TFc4iHr9l4bK8si=-_RZVecI-dCimUWv

Did anglicanism decide once and for all that something *happens* to the wine (and bread)? Do they still say feed on him in your heart by faith with thanksgiving? If this change is said to take place it’s a change. Might result in not being Anglican anymore. Breaking the spell of the famous “Anglican Settlement “. A very good idea.

I have both the 1928 and the 1979 prayer books and love the collects. Memorizing certain prayers is a great idea. I have memorized a lot of scriptures from the old KJV.

There is no Real Presence/Eucharist without a change in substance from the bread and wine to become the substance of Jesus Christ's literal corporeal living flesh and blood with His Soul and Divinity. Anglican's don't follow the rules God gave the Apostles, hence Anglican Ministers are unable to confect the Eucharist. Probably the most concise way to understand God's rules regarding the Eucharist is to read Decree 17 of the Council of Jerusalem (1672) and A vindication of Apostolic Curae (1896) - both available to read for free online. Also search on youtube "science on Eucharistic miracles". God bless you

Purgatory and indulgences sadly were causes of Tetzel's money making schemes. Many people like myself were nurtured by the sermons of Rev. Billy Graham. As a young Catholic, I deeply influenced by Rev Graham. I was in Catholic parochial school however no one spoke like Rev Graham

The Bible says not to pray to anybody excepted Jesus. If millions of people are all praying at the same time to a saint there’s no way that a normal human in heaven has the omnipotent ability of Jesus Christ to receive all these prayers at once and have the divine nature to address every single one of them appropriately? No saint is omnipotent only Jesus. Without inferring or implying anything, how is this biblically possible?
@TimothyMatkin

Where does the Bible say that? It's a trick question because it doesn't.

I well recall the shock when some consecrated wine split onto the chancel floor, and this was not in an Anglo-Catholic church. Immediately the priest placed a paper handkerchief to absorb it. In any other Protestant church this would not have been an issue, but in an Anglican context, this is not merely a symbol, but in some undefined but real sense, the real presence.

Yes, beautiful. But really traditional. The rite of Sarum would be more "traditional". There exist about 30+ rites (including the Eastern and Oriental Orthodox). Each serves a purpose for a local church. The important matter is the Eucharist, not the form or rubrics. Don't get caught up with form over substance.

Here is the music for the Mass. We were not able to get the prelude and postlude, each played by me on organist with our guest trumpeter, recorded because of the length of the Mass with the additional Benediction service. However, I have listed those two pieces so that you can see what was played. Everyone did a great job on the music, choir, instrumentalists, cantors, everyone! Prelude: Hornpipe from Water Music, HWV 349 - George F. Handel (1685-1759), arr. Andrew Patterson Andrew Patterson, Trumpeter Hymn “Another year completed” - Aurelia The Introit: Galatians 6:14; Psalm 142:1 Mihi autem God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ: by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. §. I cried unto the Lord with my voice: yea, even unto the Lord did I make my supplication. V. Glory be, etc. God forbid that I should glory . . . §. Kyrie, Gloria . . . see Missa Marialis Booklet, pg 6 Psalm148:7-13 Laudate Dominum Simplified Anglican Chant The Gradual: Psalm 37:30-31 Os justi meditabitur The mouth of the righteous is exercised in wisdom, and his tongue will be talking of judgment. V. The law of his God is in his heart: and his goings shall not slide. Alleluia and Verse Franciscus pauper et humilis Alleluia, alleluia. V. Francis, poor and lowly, doth enter heaven rich: and is honored with the songs of heaven. Alleluia. The Offertory: Psalm 89:24 Veritas mea My truth also and my mercy shall be with him: and in my Name shall his horn be exalted. Choral Anthem: Franciscus Pauper et Humilis - Martha Dale (1936-2008) Hymn “Saint Francis, rich in graces rare” Tallis’ Canon Sanctus, Pater Noster, Agnus Dei . . . see Missa Marialis Booklet, pg 15 COMMUNION HARP SOLO: Medieval Medley - Kimberly Snaufer DeRosa, Harpist Hymn 581 “Where charity and love prevail” - Cheshire Benediction with a Relic of Saint Francis of Assisi The congregation stands throughout the rite, except during the blessing. As the Relic of St Francis is moved to the center of the Altar and other relics are removed from the Altar, the Canticle of the Sun, composed by the saint, is sung. Hymn 406 “Most high, omnipotent, good Lord” Assisi Hymn “Blest Francis, one with God above” Winchester New POSTLUDE: Medley of Early Music from England & Italy - Andrew Patterson, Trumpeter

Thank you, Fr. Matkin, for this and your other sermons. It is so good to hear the simple truth. You'll be happy to know that some of us in Canada, who suffer through homilies from clergy who do not believe the gospel, are pleased to have discovered your ministry online. We recently were subjected to a sermon from a priest who told us repeatedly that nothing in the New Testament tells us to worship Jesus.

A summary of the gospel. The righteous are the forgiven. The forgiven by faith repent. Christ by his word forgives and cleanses from all unrighteousness. So with Christ, and in Christ , and through Christ the sinner is made righteous. The gospel of Jesus Christ ❤❤

It has something to do with some kind of pagan belief I have a friend and they threw them at her house for a long time she was Christian and she wouldn't give up her face, but there's some kind of not positive words that they say they throw dirt on her cars as well wax on her driveway it's it's the relief system. They use things of the earth and if you don't agree with them, then they do whatever they do we Kristen don't do that. God deliver us all.

Like St. Jerome, one can always pray & study the word of God. Read the lives of holy & blessed people on how they found Jesus . Read the history of the Catholic Church before you make a judgment. Learn moreso, it's a wonderful thing. Where did protestant come from, etc. Go back to the Origin. Learn the Heart of Christ...
