Nice job. I'm looking for a way to pump a 10-acre lake up to a talk filtration system approximately 5 Acres about having to break the bank with a pump you should check out these videos on KZbin on how to keep your pond crystal clear using rocks and gravel plants then you won't have to clean it anymore just Google natural swimming ponds or natural swimming pools

You actually don't need the T. You could leave the downside open(no bag) and push the whole pipe into(submerged) the pond leaving only the planned downside exposed for taping. The pipe will fill and you can tape the bag over the end while most of the pipe is submerged. Then, when pulling the pipe out of the pond and down the hill, it will remain filled. Exact same concept with fewer parts/effort :).

I'm thinking of moving to Augusta. Can people give me pros and cons?
@humble_free3 жыл бұрын
Pros: low cost of living, plenty of retail/restaurants, decent amount of entertainment & events, historic city with nice parks and recreation areas including a 111sq mile lake (Clark's Hill Lake), couple hours drive from beaches, mountains, Atlanta, Savannah, Greenville, Columbia, Charleston, lots to do downtown, great hospitals and friendly people, major interstate access (I-20), many job opportunities and economic expansion. Cons: no lack of high crime areas, large homeless population, corruption and lack of true leadership within city/county commission, crumbling infrastructure in certain areas, Columbia County traffic congestion, Richmond County public schools aren't great. Overall, Augusta is a good place to live and raise a family. It's the 2nd largest metro area in Georgia but has a small town feel and charm. Just do your research before moving into a particular area. You can see crime stats by area on the Sheriff Office's website, www.richmondcountysheriffsoffice.com/

I thought you did an excellent job!!! I wanted to mention a few things that may make it easier for you and improve flow. I am currently studying for an exam that involves water flow in pipes. First, if you made the intake more of a funnel shape (maybe by using a coupler to go up a size) this will reduce the water turbulence at the pipe intake and will increase flow. Second, you could eliminate the one way valve on the intake and instead use a shop vac (possibly two in series) to create a vacuum in the pipe which will suck the water up from the pond and fill the whole siphon (you will need to connect the shop vac where you were using a bucket to fill with water). Keep up the great work!
@meekerh3 жыл бұрын
Keep studying for that exam! Suggesting the use of TWO SHOP VACS sounds like a suggestion made by someone who has read more than than they've done. Just so many things wrong with that idea!
@joseph323803 жыл бұрын
@@meekerh Two shop vacs in series will have more suction than just one. It will depend on how high you need to lift the water. I bet one good shop vac will lift a water column 6 to 8 feet. What’s wrong with this idea?
@meekerh3 жыл бұрын
@@joseph32380 Go try it and get back to us. :-) Once all is set up, add water and release-- DONE. But, if you want to at that point go drag out Shop Vacs, figure out how to power them and how to combine the two and seal the pipe to prevent air leaks, go for it.

Ok, I was born and raised here and, despite having lived in many other places in Georgia and other states, Augusta will always be home for me. Being from here I can honestly say that, like cities all over the U.S., it has it's beautiful places and it's disgusting places. This vid was amazing quality and captures a lot of the downtown Riverwalk area but Augusta is way bigger than that small amount showed here. The pace here is kinda in the middle, meaning there aren't horrific traffic jams or people being piled on top of each other because of limited living space and it isn't some middle of nowhere country town with 2 restaurants and 3 gas stations and one grocery store. People say it's a retirement town or just somewhere people just move here to work but, it's so much more than that. People here usually take the time to talk to each other when going into a store or restaurant and when someone is in need of help or something, we come together and do all we can to lend a hand. I'll admit that there isn't much to do activity wise since they've taken away so much of the fun things that used to be here, but Augusta is practically an hour or two away from all the places in Georgia that offer those things. It's almost exactly in between Atlanta and Savannah and there are also many places in South Carolina, like Myrtle Beach and Charleston, that aren't more than a couple hours away. So Augusta has the beneficial advantage of having access to many different places without driving 3-4 hours or more. All in all, Augusta should most definitely create more places for people who enjoy doing family activities and things like that but it is still an amazing place to visit or live despite the lack of those things. If u come here and think it's boring, you're mistaken. U just have to know people who know where the action is. Yes, Augusta can be a bit laid back and relaxed but, we don't have cops harassing and shooting innocent people just because of their race and, most people here tend to be less stressed out than the people in bigger cities, so it's all about your perspective really. I love it here even though it can get boring but thankfully I have a very creative mind so I know how to entertain myself. I enjoyed this vid and I would love for there to be more videos made that show all of Augusta's beautiful landscape if possible. Thanks for taking the time to create this because I honestly think Augusta is underrated at times. MUCH LOVE AND INFINITE BLESSINGS TO U MY FRIEND 💖 💖🙏 🙏✌ ✌

worst drag race video i ever saw. wtf just happened i have no idea, you need binoculars. FACT IS that the 3.5 ecoboost is faster than the dodge hemi, so my guess is the driver in the F150 just cant drive. 2018 F150 ecoboost 1/4 mile is 14.3 motortrend and 14.4 car and driver. 2018 dodge 1500 hemi is 14.7 motortrend and 14.7 car and driver. fyi the F150 is a tick faster than the ecoboost, so as far as 1/4 mile goes, both F150's are faster than doge hemi 5.7 and chevy 5.3. chevy also offers a 6.2 which runs neck and neck with the fords, but ford says, we got a 3.5 ecoboost Raptor that beats all.
@humble_free5 жыл бұрын
Fact is the F150 lost, stock to stock, both automatics and both leaving at the same time. The Ram even lost traction where the F150 didnt. I understand on paper the F150 should be faster but wasnt so, which is why we were all surprised. Gap city
@rogerdisapio50035 жыл бұрын
@@humble_free fact is a stock F-150 is with the 5.0 or the 3.5 ecoboost is faster than dodge hemi and chevy says road&track and car and driver. also just by putting a 93 octane tune on the 3.5 ecoboost will bring it to a mid 13. that is fact, im living proof. spend a few more bucks and buy a ford!

Wow! I lived here during my childhood. I understand what the hood is. What I don't understand is why people continue to live in this dead, boring so called City. it's a road to nowhere. It's sad. warm weather almost all year. Is nice. But so does Florida. Unless you have money Augusta GA is not a place to be. It's DEAD. People seem to dry up from a lack of culture, education, and good jobs. Let's not forget excitement. And the southern accent is horrible. It's rare to hear someone say a complete sentence. This say a lot for the school system there. Lifeless.😴🤭👎 Stay on the plane, stay on the train. ( Forget the train, there's no passenger train that stops there) lol. Stay in the car and get on I-95 North and don't look back.
