Thank you for the video 👏👏 Can I just ask a question? I am trying the same thing with Rex C100 + SSR DC-DC to control the heather cartridge from an old 3d printer, but when I turn it on, it gets hot too fast while the thermistor is showing 30 degrees celsius, with fear of burning something I turn it off. I am still trying to understand what is happening, have you had this problem, is this normal?

If you already have old 3d printer than there is no need to buy rex c100 , just use the motherboard provided in old 3d printer to control the nozzle temperature.

You have to adjust the temperature depending on the type of plastic being used. Amd few trails because it depends on how you have set up the temperature sensor. You can try from approximately 140 degree Celsius and try to extrude filament. Then go on increasing and decreasing temperature based on how well filament is extruding

I am not Pro to 3D Printing, i am new, but you can't compare Orca and Cura original profiles. As far as i know, Cura have better settings for original printer profiles, but in Orca, speed, travel settings, maybe more than that is not the same, they are slower. If you wan't OrcaSlicer to be close to Cura speed, you need to make adjustments. Becouse i am new in all that, i am searching and trying to learn more, but i know that Orca is slower becouse speed settings are not the same originaly and not only speed settings. I have tried premaid profiles with Orca and speed is slow. So my thougts is that we need to learn how to fine Tune Orca for our printers. Im searching for info and other things in every spare time i have. day i learn new things for 3d Printing.

I also haven't both software exhaustively. I just shared what problem i faced while using orca slicer for the first time.

This are the settings for 3d printing I used prusa slicer with bed temperature of 70 degree Celsius and nozzle temperature 250 degrees Celsius. Yup bro initially it happened due to less temperature of nozzle which was 240 degrees Celsius on my ender 3v2. But when i heated up nozzle temperature to 250 degrees Celsius it extruded like butter. I used prusa slicer with bed temperature of 70 degree Celsius and nozzle temperature 250 degrees Celsius. For bed adhesion i used normal glue stick evenly applied to bed. Hope this clarifies all your doubts.

@@3Delite028 thanks for the answer. also, how much flow rate do you set?
@3Delite028
@3Delite028 7 ай бұрын
There is a setting called extrusion multiplier. I had stock extruder on my ender3 v2. Which didn't work for 1.5 mm extruded pet filament. I also tried 2mm hole on nozzle but it was getting struck in bowden tube. So i chose 1.5 mm diameter hole for nozzle. And used dual gear extruder with stock steps per mm And extrusion multiplier value = 2 For prusa slicer.
@3Delite028
@3Delite028 7 ай бұрын
I upgraded my extruder to creality dual gear extruder without calibrating steps then directly changing flow rate to double value. This printed well for PET filament. Whenever you upgrade extruder firstly calibrate steps per mm for extruder for normal filament like PLA. Then for PET filament you just make test print with extrusion rate 1.4/1.5/2 times the normal since pet filament are hollow inside.
