Did you make it through the session? That blinking fuel light had me triggered. I must know!
@bobheinz573 ай бұрын
Haha yes I did. I can do an outlap, 7 race laps and a cooldown lap with the light blinking. When it goes solid, that's when its time to come in.

Impressive riding against that guy on the dark coloured BMW S1000RR. What bike are you on in this video? From the sounds of it, it's probably a 600? From the looks of the mirrors, maybe a Suzuki GSXR 600 maybe? What bike? Also what IS Motogladiator? My impression is that it's a race series, but not a race series? Kind of an amateur kind of thing? Please explain. I'm interested!
@bobheinz573 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Yes, I am riding a 2011 GSXR 600. Motogladiator is a race series that's done during some EvolveGT trackdays. It's a way to get trackday people exposed to racing. It's a bit easier than jumping into a full race weekend, because its really just a trackday with a race session. motogladiator.com/ facebook.com/motogladiator

I hate to see that......Was it too much speed with Turn In..and no counter steer? .or was it tires bad ?

@smith5o73 жыл бұрын
do you prefer hitting turn 1 in 2nd gear instead of 3rd ?
@bobheinz573 жыл бұрын
This is gearing dependent. With current gearing (16/44), second is the gear to be in. With my old gearing, (15/46), third was the gear to be in. I switched in 2013, and I prefer the current gearing setup.
@smith5o73 жыл бұрын
@@bobheinz57 i have a 2018 gsxr750 and run -1 in the front so 16/43 still trying to find which gearing is best for me
@bobheinz573 жыл бұрын
@@smith5o7 generally speaking, start your gearing selection to be at the end of the power in 5th gear at the end of the longest straight, then see how that affects what gear you're in and how your drive is out of corners and adjust accordingly.

If you come back to the track again, message me. I fly FPV racing drones. And I'm local. I can chase you around track at 100mph and take 4k video. Could get some great video to post.

How did you add that track/speedo overlay?
@bobheinz574 жыл бұрын
The data came from a Speed Angle lap timer, and I used RaceRender software to do the overlay.

Def. Expert man, holy hell!!! Also, I'm a bit ignorant to how you have the track and lap times in lower corner?? I'm assuming a Lap timer of course, but connected to the camera somehow and how is the track mapped out?
@bobheinz576 жыл бұрын
I use a SpeedAngle GPS lap timer. It collects a whole bunch of data. I use RaceRender software and it takes the data from the lap timer and gives you ways to show the data on the video. It can also do lap times, speed, g-forces and lean angle(but I lost the sensor for that)
