Now that the original is out, I have to say that I like this one better. Not only do I enjoy "Lovers" more than the song, but this one has much nicer moments, like Komi being thrown into the air with every "Nee..." Super great!

WAIT HI THE ODDS OF YOU READING THIS IS PROBABLY SUPER LOW BUT I LOVE THIS SO MUCH (my vocabulary is extremely limited rn this is the happiest I've been this week) I started reading the manga because of the anime and caught up w it so I've built a pretty big love for the series. Seeing this after coming home from school is an absolute serotonin boost and I could never express how much I love this through words. The song you picked has been my favorite Sumika song too! It all came together wonderfully!!

With the official op out, gotta say this aged really well; you wven nailed some things that ended up used in the official one (the water, intertwined stories, the characters singing along the op and all the falls)

Seriously, although the official OP kinda did miss out on a lot of opportunities that this fanmade one did do. Like when Komi and Tadano are in Komi's notebook. But alas, I'm thankful that both OPs are bangers. With the official one being gorgeously animated and this one with a lot of unique ideas that really showcase the cast.
