I sure enjoyed this, thanks very much for your time and efforts putting it together. My great-great grandfather was 103rd regiment, Illinois Infantry..."K" Co. He served the Union for 3 years and 3 months. He experienced a very difficult time. Was wounded with buckshot in his left calf running ammunition & ambulance duty as a Wagonmaster during the siege of Petersburg. I'm a huge American history buff, especially the Revolutionary and Civil War. Thanks, again...

My dad, who served in the Navy, just died Nov.20, 2023.This was his favorite book-he bought it at garage sales, thrift stores, and estate sales; he gave them away to anyone who would read it. He had six of them on the kitchen shelf when he died. I gave those out to my friends who had not yet read it. Such great stories of ordinary people doing extraordinary things during a horrifying time.

My grandfather served with Co. C of the Texas Volunteers during the Spanish American War. I think they were initially issued Trapdoor Springfields. But his favorite deer hunting cartridge was the 30-40 Krag for the next 60 years!

Ahh yes the 1/18 scale 21st century toys Panther G. I have been trying to get one for while, but there pretty expensive to get but at least I own the 1/18 tiger 1 e from them also just gotta let you guys know that the company 21st century toys went out of business a decade ago so hence why their military toy models/figures ranging from 1/32, 1/18 to 1/6 are at a high price nowadays.

I had a Stallion 45 that had cartridges that would😮 pull from chambers and open to allow insertion of individual caps. Actually, caps would ignite inside when trigger pulled.!!! 😢
