Great haul. I laughed when you showed the Lenox. It’s rare when I hear someone say they like it. Just celebrated my 40th wedding anniversary & my husband is originally from Trenton, NJ (l lived in North Jersey, closer to NY, so it was a “long distance” relationship back then.). His family was big into Lenox, seeing as they lived in the area where it was made, and I was a little clueless at the time. The day after we announced our engagement, I was given a catalog to go through to pick out my Lenox China pattern! Then the gifts started pouring in. I have a beautiful set of Lenox china, along with so many other lovely pieces. My 4 daughters are like, “meh”, but the youngest is coming around now. My two boys have no interest, but I remind them maybe their wife or the other ones fiancé would like some pieces. My son’s fiancé is in her last year of vet school & loves horses. She fell in love with the Lenox carousel collection, so we’ve been gifting them to her. I even have some of my MIL’s collection that she left to her grandchildren. To this day, I will not leave a piece of Lenox on the shelf when thrifting, unless I already have it. I leave it hoping someone else will see the beauty in the pieces! Long story short, I appreciate you saving pieces of Lenox too!

That outdoor garden basket is amazing! Great find! The heart basket coukd turn into a wall pocket, just add a claw hook on the back. One of my most detailed flips was an old farm shelf. So much work and frustration but my favorite piece as well! It now holds some DIY Paint in one of my booths.

Love the way you finish a project so nicely. Several years ago I refinished an end table like that. Come to find out when I was cleaning it, the section at the top was a secret space.

I really like the large garden basket. You are the best at painting and refinishing furniture. There are other channels that they don’t even wash the items first. I could never buy something like that. Ick. I was shocked when the gal did that. If I’m ever going to paint anything I’ll definitely do it like you do. The time and cost isn’t worth it if it’s got dirt on it. Keep up the good work! The birthing chair is really interesting. Glad I had foam grips to hold onto when I had my 10 pounder.

Hey Rachel! Simple projects to refinish. My gosh gal, I have seen you refinish quite a few things, and they turn out gorgeous! It was a small haul but a dang good one. I love giving myself permission. Gave myself permission to go to Hobby Lobby for the 90% off of Christmas. That was fun. My favorite was the birthing chair. I used to live in the south and those were all over the place. Never knew what they were though. Very cool. Your cold sounds a touch better. My neck is out and have been coughing 1/2 the night and all day. So, my throat is pretty sore. Guess I am having sympathy cold symptoms for you. Hi Rachel, once again you have performed an excellent makeover with the careful processes needed to elevate the quality on this nightstand. I’m very curious when you sell it, who is the buyer? Is it a gift, or a young buyer starting up a new apartment, and what age group the final user is. I’m constantly in a state of trying to make my painted pieces relate to as broad market possible.
