i have the exact same car model and year but in midnight blue with 160k never used the parking brake so maybe thats why ive never had that issue

Fast forward many years later, I actually have a newly found love this These and older Monteros. I want an 03+ now

Mine sounds just like this when accelerating. I was worried the transmission noise was troublesome, but seems to be normal sound.

Best truck ever!!! I have a 2003 that got only 142,877 miles. This truck has been the most reliable vehicle i have ever had. Still looks great becouse i take care of her. I will give this truck to my grandson on his 16th birthday. I feel so secure with this truck, that i would drive her all the way to the east coast without a doubt that she couldent make it.

Cool video. I would love a manual transmission FJ! And would be in Heaven and dream of making a KZbin channel of driving around the East Coast on I95 and making a little money from KZbin. Idk if you have seen their channels but I have found a handful of channels that take you along on rides so you can see all the different things in different states. 2 that come to my mind are: Freewayjim and FreewayBrent. I would love starting a channel like that driving a manual FJ(both vehicles I currently own are Toyotas) a tundra and sienna. But would love a Rubicon 392, Ram TRX, Bronco Raptor. I have a 2011 Tundra like the looks of the FJ but don’t want to give up my V8. Especially since I only have a 108,xxx some thousand miles. I know the Bronco Raptor is V6 but the looks of it is awesome!
