You need to press the top up slightly and pull the edges out towards you. Then undo the screws on the back/bottom.

I do not but they can be easily found. It all depends on the height of your ceiling and the brand boxes you buy. I used plans for the frame but ended up having to adjust the cleat heights because the plans were wrong

I mean they are 2x4s. This is basically the same method that is used to build your homes walls so it’s pretty darn strong. I also screwed mine into the joists so I could hang on them with all the boxes full on the wall and it doesn’t budge.

Thank you. I have a quite an expensive tent and have been doing research on how to store it correctly long term and I came across your video. Very useful information. Have you ever had a tent that developed weak spots from folding it neatly? You mentioned nylon will this sill happen on a PU tent?
@steveofalltrades816
@steveofalltrades816 7 ай бұрын
Yes we had it happen to pu tents in scouts. Those were often heavily used and folded the same way every time. The more often you fold in the same spot the more weak points you can create in the fabric. And especially the coated fabrics, those folds create holes cracks and separations in the coating.

@@steveofalltrades816 Yep. When you go backpacking/hiking do you fold it up nicely or do you still just do a bag stuff? If you're limited on space I guess you would just fold it aye.

I'm an elderly person. My holder came off the bracket. I was in panic mode thinking I would have to hire a handyman to come fix. I thought there was a particular way to slip it on. Watching the last portion of your video, the explanation about the screw, along with your calm demeanor, gave me the confidence to fix it myself. Thank YOU so much for making this video.

Actually it is. The normal kettlebell snatch you hold the handle and it’s more controlled. By catching it my wrist, elbow and shoulder all need to work to press and balance that weight. It’s not an exercise that is building significant muscle but is helping with stability.

An easier way would be to make it 4ft tall put legs on one side and turn the screen at a 45° angle, the larger material will stay on the outside and smaller material falls inside. I screened my backyard this way. Throw it hard at the screen.

the rat in my greenhouse keeps licking off the stuff for the bait and not setting off the trap. I wanted to make sure I was doing it right by watching this video. Been trying to get the buggerr for over a week. I don't like killing animals but I wanted a trap that killed them swiftly. You're right about glue traps.
@steveofalltrades816
@steveofalltrades816 Жыл бұрын
Depending on the trap, I prefer the metal trigger. There is a little hole in the front of the trigger. I typically stuff that and the curled piece with super dry natural peanut butter or fluff. They require some pressure to eat and trigger the trap easier.

I used hard cat food and a hot glue gun to stick to plate. Worked first time 20mins after baiting.
@SkittlesBoris
@SkittlesBoris Жыл бұрын
Peanut butter is too lickable as bait. I've hot glued a pretzel to the bait tray with really good results. The salt is addictive and they can't stop. You can use some sticky candy too. Use hot glue to make sure the rat can't run away with the bait.

When your following the contour of the knife and have to lift the handle up are you still keeping blade flush against the angle guide?
@steveofalltrades816
@steveofalltrades816 2 жыл бұрын
Yes. Otherwise the angle would not be consistent across the belly and the tip of the blade. At some point your blade is going to no longer touch the angle guide while you pull it through so you’ll need to maintain that angle yourself. I suggest maintaining light pressure against the angle guide so when you are no longer touching the guide your angle isn’t thrown off. Also remember to stop the blade tip at the middle of the belt so you don’t round the tip over.

I'm just wondering where you latch it
@steveofalltrades816
@steveofalltrades816 2 жыл бұрын
On the traps with the brass trigger, the ray trap in this example, there is a very small dent on the inside of the part of the trigger arm that points upward. For the plastic ones, mouse trap in this example, there is a shelf on the underside of the trigger that will only latch when it is lifted high enough. Further to the right the trap is more sensitive, further to the left is less.
