Some "weeds" are the clear preference for certain insects in my garden, Malva is the most obvious example. I've really appreciated it this spring for it's ground cover, long lasting flowers which the bees love, and endless big leaves which get eaten to the point of being more hole than leaf. They are growing all around my tomatoes, and other herb, and there is no sign of insect pressure even though leaves are touching in places. Thanks for a great video, and helping spread a perspective which I hope a lot more people will come to appreciate and adopt.

Very clear info which you can adapt to your own garden. Valuable point about larval foodplants, so that you can help species proliferate as well as attracting their adult individuals. Thank you!

Willow is a great tree to plant , coppice for wood every few years . I've a Burdock growing from seed which is taller than me . Wish more people had your outlook on the natural ecosystem .

Thoroughly enjoyed this very interesting video. Was delighted to see my first ever Puffin at Bullers O' Buchan a couple of years ago. Well done on video & narration. 👍👍
