This is one of my top three foundations, but I probably do use 2 pumps to get a fuller coverage when I want to build it up. Also, I do remember the very first day I tried it, I actually didn't like it but then I tried it again and really liked it. I think it takes a little bit of playing with to find how it works best for you. I have pretty dry skin too and I know that can make a difference.
