Great duo, melancholy Carole King song.

I was surprised to read in a biography of the 60's, 70's music scene, how much of a roll Peter played in many, many recordings.

@@robertswarts9806 youd think he if anyone, Asher would know that two acoustic guitars both playing open position and the same chords at the same time sounds rubbish.. go figure..

Great to hear Albert singing and Peter still performing. I remember Peter and Gordon very well from my youth. And Peter’s lovely sister, Jane.

I see everyone praising Albert Lee here.. which is great.. he's a legend. But, most folks don't realize what a legend Peter Asher is. I knew him as a part of Peter and Gordon in my youth, and watched as he became the premier producer during my lifetime.. Google him as see how many of your favorite artists he's acted as producer for...........

Saw Albert with the Everly Brothers at Wembley in the '80s. A great guitarist, up there alongside James Burton and Vince Gill as a country picker.

Definitely old, very very old - but obviously always relevant. Three chord 50s rock n roll will always have secure place in the modern world... what's not to like.

I saw Albert in a very small venue in Kirkcudbright, Scotland about 15 years ago and he was absolutely fantastic. I have to say that Elio Pace on piano was also wonderful, as were the rest of the band ‘Hogan’s Heroes’. Tickets were only £15, and I’ve never had better value.
