It just goes to show just how old this series is. Since this was made, many steam locomotives have been restored to operating conditions like the UP Big Boy 4014 and the C&O 1309

Against one of the largest standing armies in the world that had been hardened by 8 years of war, his plan and execution was a stunning success. And to think he commanded the most diverse coalition in history with all the complications that entailed, and with the pressure to throw the Vietnam monkey off America's back...

If there is a hell, I hope this man is burning in it. He should be. Any good deed he did in helping to liberate Kuwait, he far more than undid with that Highway of Death. For the record: he’s no military genius. He did what Americans have been doing for decades prior: beat up on a weaker country with outdated military equipment, led by imbeciles.

When he was Commanding I Corps General at Fort Lewis, Washington I was in the Fort Lewis Fire Department.. We had the Fireman’s Pancake Breakfast for everyone that showed up and early on who came strolling into Station #1 truck bay was General Schwarzkopf and he greeted those Fireman and families that were present. He said well I better get to work and came over and stood right next to me in the serving line and stay with us for quite some time helping serve and cook pancakes. He was the most awesome amazing man and had such an awesome personality and it was so much fun standing next to him serving pancakes!, It was such an awesome sight watching him in Desert Storm and such a thrill for me to say I knew him.
