My daughter was seriously looking at a new one today, loved it, but the 3rd row was too small for 8 year old gran son. Got a new Ford Explored instead. Hope she. Will be happy with the Ford.

Jeffrey, please do the viewers the favor and relate your most obvious experienced difference between the two vehicles. Naturally the 3rd row seat is one :)

@@ultimatemobilityluvtheride507 I hope the explorer won’t give her problems, it’s hit and miss with Fords. She loved the Mitsubishi, engine was no problem with her, she is not a hot rod. Just could not fit the kids in the 3rd row. Stretch that wheel base a couple of inches and you will sell them fast. My 2015 Lancer still runs like new.

@@jeffreykweller8825 Now see, that is how cars are sold, the experience it offers and the ability to be able to compare the little things that are part of your tick box listing for that specific moment. Thanks to all the "dad`s, for being there for their children to guide them out of experience.

No decent cupholders, no quiet ride at speeds over 120km/h, no rubber carpets for the great outdoors, no parcel netting for groceries, no "no hands" feet sensor back door opening etc etc etc, BUT much of what we have come to appreciate in various MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE models may not be the CORE focus of the 4XPLOR @Mahindra Scorpio N and so when you look at your specific needs in buying any model, take 15min of your most valuable time and write down the 10 CORE things that you are going to use the vehicle you need or want to buy the most and then the 10 things that you believe you cannot be without and then look at what match your desired outcome and at what price... You may quickly realize you will HAVE TO COMPROMISE and then when you do, which model comes closest to what you need for the money you are prepared to invest, yes, not spend... INVEST...

One thing you will never find is a 2024 outlander owner upset with their purchase
@AmricanEagl7 ай бұрын
Sure that! They barely have it! Why would they be upset?! Let them drive 50k in it and let see if that CVT transmission will handle!

@AmricanEagl it's got 1 gear. It's not a CVT. Truth is stranger than fiction

I am sure there are many other options that may impress you @cristianstriblea792. Fortunately, in this segment one would be able to go both ways, as it is positioned fairly in the middle of many other offerings.

I cant believe they put all this effort in making a nice car but made the engine very under powered 🤷♂️🤷♂️.. how can they do this ??

Just bought an SE yesteday, drove a family of four with luggage and a bunch of xmas gifts 700 miles and up over 5000' altitude. Engine is perfectly up to the task and the drive assist was incredible. We got 31mpg, which is more than rated. you should drive one before you decide based on numbers on a page, i think you'll be surprised

What are measurements for 3rd row legroom? Everything I've been reading and seeing, says that 3rd row seating legroom is abysmal, basically only the smallest children past child car seat size, could utilize the third seat. If this is true, don't try to cover it up, correct the poor design, or refer to the vehicle as a 5 seater.
@DanteGous10 ай бұрын
@TexasHarleyBoy65, the reality is when you drive or test many 7 seater vehicles that are not "people carriers" by design like a Kia Carnival, Mercedes-Benz V-Class, VW- ID, Ford Tourneo, you will always have a compromised 3rd row seating configuration. We, myself just past 6ft tall and friend with a slightly broader frame sat at the back for a short, very uncomfortable car fetch trip, and we would both concur that neither the Outlander nor Audi Q7, BMW X5 etc would be fitting 3rd row grown up options to take on a leisure drive.
