I love how you’ve built an amazingly accurate lambda class shuttle with thousands upon thousands of pieces…..yet still got the colour wrong. Much like the snowspeeder, the imperial shuttle isn’t white. It’s grey. Light grey admittedly but still grey not white! 😂

I agree that the Tydirium shuttle should be light gray rather than white, but LEGO's light bluish gray is too dark compared to the shuttle in the movie. If you watch Palpatine’s arrival at the Death Star in Return of the Jedi, you'll notice that LEGO’s light bluish gray actually matches the gray stripe on Palpatine's shuttle nose. That’s why it was an easy choice for me to go with white instead of light bluish gray for the shuttle.

@@MGF_71 yeah, I get it. I still think light bluish grey for it would be better than white! I’m currently sourcing parts for my own version of the shuttle….its basically the official set with some modifications improving the rear engine assembly and making it with cheaper to find parts! Apart from that I think the official set got it right! Lego building isn’t model making- it’s more like impressionistic painting. Doesn’t have to be photographic accurate so long as the essence of what you’re recreating is there! 🤔🤷🤣

I love this build, great job... I actually ended up buying the older smaller version 5700 piece one & recently completed it... So happy with the result, the Shuttle Tydirium was my favourite ship from the original 3 Star Wars movies... Now I got a model in my living room. Thank you MGF_71

Lego would never make this 😢 1: it’s too big. 2: it’s gonna be too expensive. 3: They would never put a full interior on this. 4:there is way too much detail. 5: they would cover it in studs. I unfortunately rest my case 😢

Constructed it under the watchful eye of Emperor Palpatine himself! The story involves Emperor Palpatine's request for a Tydirium shuttle to impress his dark side buddies. Ditched the Star Wars sound for Wookie-Rock. Vader might find himself rocking that helmet to the beat!
