Can you recommend recourses for learning perspective?
@SaanzaАй бұрын
Drawabox teaches perspective for free. Proko has a perspective course as well (Marshall Vandruff's Course) you can pay for (one time fee). Drawabox also has a partner called New Masters Academy (haven't done this myself though) because I don't think it's free and it requires a subscription.

You appeared randomly on my feed, the notion that art will be the last thing to be replaced by automation is not as silly as you could initially think when you look at the recent AI improvements. How can I say this... art isn't really about making impresive images in as short a time as possible a lot more goes into it, I just get this feeling when I look at AI art of almost pure boredom, until, a HUMAN does something more interesting with the tool like assisted art where they edit the image to get whatever their creativity takes them to. And that's a key word creativity it really just comes down to human ideas, the AI wouldn't have anything to pick as a sample without people having invented all sorts of styles and ideas first. If anything the supply of AI quick images is so high that no one is willing to pay much of a price or even much attention tho a plain generated image anymore, it kinda sorts itself out like that lol.

That's cool I appeared lol. I guess the KZbin algorithm is starting to like me maybe haha. Algorithm is still savage though overall. I agree that intentionality is important in being creative.

I disagree, your reasoning is very naïve-basically, just smile, bro. Happiness is not measured by the accumulation or experience of things, but by meaning and purpose. Everyone wants to love and be loved. Everyone wants to belong and do what is fun and meaningful to them. That is what is lacking today. Please don't try to gaslight us with the notion that we have it better than any other time. As stated before, happiness is not measured by the accumulation or experience of things. Our caveman brains don’t have a ceiling and will always pursue more. It's our default to adjust to our living experience, which is why you see the rich still trying to get richer and people in poorer countries with strong communities happier than your average Westerner. Isn’t it ironic that all the Western countries have high rates of depression, mental illness, and suicide, even though we have all these things you boast about? Technology can be entertaining and make things easier, but it is not a core factor to true happiness. Why are there doomers? Instead of wagging your finger like we’re some dumb kids who simply haven't smiled, how about looking at the current socio-economic conditions we’re in and putting that Maslow chart to use? Simply put, modern-day life is akin to solitary confinement. Deprive someone of meaning, purpose, and connection, and they will go insane. I’m pretty sure COVID proved that point. The good thing about the indomitable human spirit is that no matter what we go through, we fight to make things better. So I suggest both Doomers and Bloomers get off the internet and build up their local communities.
@Saanza5 ай бұрын
Bro, meaning and purpose is what I was going for. I’m a minamilist. All I said was you need food, water, shelter and loving friends and family. Basically we agree here. We’re both on the same side but you misunderstood me. “how about looking at the current socio-economic conditions we’re in” - I did look at the current socio-economic conditions. I said fair enough you can be a doomer if you’re lacking the basics. You’re putting words in my mouth. Having more and more stuff doesn’t make you happier. The technology we have today does make a lot of stuff easier though. I am grateful for all the modern tech we have. Watch the part of my video where I talk about people who live off the grid and are happy. People living off the grid don’t accumulate tons of stuff. Rewatch my video. I’m just saying you should appreciate all the good things you have in your life more. I’m not trying to gaslight anyone. I also said that it’s valid to be a doomer in certain cases. “people in poorer countries with strong communities happier than your average Westerner.“ - This just proves what I was talking about. These people are bloomers even without tons of stuff. You’re still agreeing with me here lol. “Isn’t it ironic that all the Western countries have high rates of depression, mental illness, and suicide, even though we have all these things you boast about?” Yes it is. I agree. Bro, I’m under the same exact conditions as them but I’m a bloomer. It’s harsh but they need to change their mindset if they want to improve their mental health. It’s like SpongeBob and Squidward who both work at the Krusty Crab (same conditions) but different mental outcomes. Bro, we are on the same side and the points you give agree with what I said in the video lol. I know it’s not easy to change your mindset. It’s a constant work in progress and takes consistent effort. I know you can’t change your mindset instantly. I tried to change and I’m seeing results. I really am more content and happy with my situation now. “The good thing about the indomitable human spirit is that no matter what we go through, we fight to make things better.” - Exactly. Follow your own advice and fight to make things better. Starting with your own mindset. Bro, you gotta try.

it's easy to be a naive idealist. it's easy to be a cynical realist. It's quite another thing to have no illusions and still hold the inner flame.

“Even the people we’d consider to be poor today have it a lot better off than royalty from ages ago” I always think about this, when I feel bad about the way I live I remember that I’m living better than 99% of kings from the Middle Ages, just the food I get to eat everyday is a thousand times higher quality than anything they had back then, and it makes me feel better (:
