That was a brilliant gig! This group was really good at showcasing a solid 70s Repertoire! I was stood at the front towards the left by the stage, got a great view all night!

👎 Jeezuz H Christ, that is f**kin awful! I've been a Slade fan since 1971, and that is NOT Slade!! Slade ceased to be in 1991 when Jim Lea and Noddy Holder left. Don Powell left a few years ago, and since then, this, what is effectively the Dave Hill band, has gone from bad to worse. I would hate for anyone experiencing Slade for the first time to listen to this dross. I wouldn't go and see this abomination if they played at our local pub. Dave Hill, it's time to give up before you completely ruin the Slade legacy. Awful!!

DK was one of a kind, due in large part to Jello.i truly hope that Jello didn't try to cheat the other band members out of thrurrr fair share. Sounds like a BTec Stranglers covers band poorly attempting a cover but with a voice that sounds almost but not completely like Hugh. 🤣 Gimme JJ's Stranglers any day.

How bout mentioning the name of the venue and the real name of the band in the event we would like to go see them, thanks PS- i used to go to CBGBs and the Mud Club etc back in the punk days and even met Johnny Rotten at a bar on his first visit to Manhattan and the USA

The name of the venue is The 1865 in Southampton UK, and the bands name is “The Doors in Concert”
