I know Jeanty will never stay another year and neither will Koetter but man lets say this team makes it the CFP wins the first game and loses by 1 in the semifinal game. If those guys came back(again I know its not happening) I honestly believe we would be #1 Pre-season and would win the natty the following year. Just because the run game would be impossible for teams to defend and we would be UW in a different way just able to score on anyone on every drive even if its Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon, Alabama ETC. Prater has a great point. You can't dominate in the run game and also pass the ball well when you are running the ball well enough to where the pass is not needed all the time. We are technically #1 in rushing we have 1 less game than the two teams above us. We will lead the nation in rushing by a mile. That being said passing is a compliment totally agree.

It also struck me as an odd for him to double and triple down on "elite" in that presser given how poorly the defense graded out last year and how little the personnel changed. I honestly think he may have thought that because they were going up against an adequate QB and recievers that thus far haven't been very great he was probably overestimating the defense. If these recievers can't get seperation in the games I'm sure the defense looks elite against them in practice 😂
