That was not the Opera House you labelled in the video :))). That's actually the 'Det Kongelige Teater - Skuespilhuset (aka The Playhouse). The Opera House is the imposing structure across the water from Amalienborg.

Is the wallpaper too much pattern for the room? I have removed wallpaper in two rooms years ago. Paint the room first. You can always add pictures.

Another thought. Paint the back splash and adjacent wall either brick red (to blend in with the ceiling) and have accents (pottery, vases, etc in the cement color), or paint the two areas the cement color and have accents in brick red. Looking forward to seeing your results in a video. Also, get plastic throws to cover your furniture while remodeling. I also have cloth throws on my furniture for everyday protection.

How is the light in the kitchen? I would not introduce any more colors. You already have red, white, black, gray - choose from one of these. Get small samples of the colors and paint them on 9 X 12 inch pieces of paper. When they are dry, hold them against the wall.

Thanks Joanne! Yes! 😍 I’m thinking shades of red. That would def match the ceiling and the floor, but it has to be a light shade (maybe bright..hmm) because the kitchen gets a little dark in the winter. Getting swatches is a great idea! 😍 so exciting!

Thank you Rachael! I saw it too and I love it. I always look forward to watching them every Sunday. So far I haven't discovered any shops that sell antique tiles here in Asti. I'll try to ask around to have a look myself. But just in case you'd like to try, our architect took us to a showroom in Alba called Idroterm some weeks ago. We got our bathroom and bedroom tiles from them. If I don't find anything here in Asti, we'll probably go and visit them again soon. Hope that helps 🥰

Very enjoyable video. Not often that we hear something is cheaper in Denmark. 😄 I would contest what VisitCopenhagen have written with what is written on the website of the actual church. _"Although the church is built mainly of Norwegian marble, the upper parts are constructed from a number of materials, including Danish Faxe marble."_ Combined with what is written on OpdagDanmark. _"The marble was imported from Bergen in Norway, ..."_ _"... while it was originally the plan, they went more economically after Tietgen's takeover. So while the original walls really consist of marble, the top of the church (the drum) is finished in what we can call "Danish marble" - limestone from Faxe Lime Mining."_ To be clear I am not blaming you for writing it, since VisitCopenhagen really does write what you quoted. I wish VisitCopenhagen would write '...isn't made *entirely* of marble ...' and where they have written _"swap from marble to limestone blocks"_ I wish they would write 'swap to finish it with limestone blocks'.
