There are a few ways in but I got into the area around Middle Lake from near the fly fishing/casting pond.

Yay! You’re back! Thanks for the researching the history behind your finds, it is amazing to think of all who came before us and that only the remnants of their 🤔existence are left.

Looks like a good trip. I remember my grandma having a hose nozzle like that back in the day. It should be brass.

Good idea hitting those strips, you should wear a safety vest so some idiot doesn't hit you.. the ending left me in suspense!

super cool button find! Did the State Park Ranger give you any hassle about detecting there?
@bayareableepers2 жыл бұрын
Hey, no, they didn't hassle me but I wasn't broadcasting what I was doing either. Other park goers saw me but none of the rangers came down to the area while I was there.

Hey Jess you’re in my neighborhood! Goat Tock gets hunted regularly and it has a lot of trash from partying. There are some good spots along the Russian River. Hit me up.

Yeah, I'm reading a book on the history of Russian River too in case there are any historical areas that are maybe hiding in plain sight. Cool!

very cool, and I don't even like oysters! We have a spot in Sacramento we just hit that is giving up a lot of old metal. If your interested I will hit you up next time we go, you may find some stuff you can use.

Great video. What a disappointment the garbage dump was, I was hoping it would have some cool old stuff. Good luck at the SC Lost Boys Bridge. I know exactly what your talking about, my cousin used to work at the Boardwalk!

Thanks! Yeah, my brother in law worked there for many seasons and became friends with a bunch of the Irish kids that would come over for the summer. They would all do a summer in SC, then a summer in Ireland and so on. He is still friends with them today!

Ocean beach is national Seashore and it is not legal to detect there. I'm surprised you didn't get chased off.
@bayareableepers3 жыл бұрын
Saturday there were life guards and other official types there too. And I wasn't the only person with a detector on Saturday. Who knows!
@Strickalator3 жыл бұрын
Ocean Beach is a State beach and it's perfectly legal to search that area. Just avoid the nw end near the cliff House as that is where it becomes federal
@bayareableepers3 жыл бұрын
@@Strickalator this is not what I have read and I do know people who have been asked to leave there.
@Strickalator3 жыл бұрын
@@bayareableepers raregoldnuggets.com/?p=4297 If it is managed by the state you are perfectly okay to search the beach. This site here has all the info about which is legal in which isn't. It's the Golden Gate National recreational Park area where the Park police have jurisdiction which is federal that don't let you use the detector legally.
