Wow I am sorry to hear about the Concorde! This sounds similar to another story about a Concorde that went to NAMM only to leave in different hands. Another one of a kind lost to time only to turn up decades later. I really hope it turns up soon man. And for the other company to lose everything at the show is just shocking lack of security.

Man, I'd love to work for you and learn how to build guitars. I've always been a musician, but building instruments seems to be a more intimate way to interact with music. That sounds weird in hindsight 😂

Nice, now that I just installed a mozzarella stick on my EVH standard a few weeks ago I am going to look into the tone vise for my Jacksons. I also sold my 1987 Trans Am last week so I can't judge :)

On neck shapes, i do prefer a flatter C shape. But wonder what a compound radius on the back might feel like? As those kinds of fretboards change from 12 to 16 (or close) inches, would it be possible to do that on the back of the neck and transition from a D shape at the top to a C at the bottom?

Funnily enough, I have found out that the intro riff to Diary of a Madman is quite difficult to play in "electric guitar" position, but somehow much more natural in "classical guitar" position. Good ole Randy... I need to relearn Dee.

Those “blaming the wife” guys are so tiresome. I give my wife full credit for the ‘71 Trella I have coming to me in a few days. I mentioned I’d love to have one and she said “cool, I’ll buy you one. What colour do you want?”

Pink? Oh yeah... I love that color. I have one totally pink bicycle that gets lots of looks when I ride it and another that is pink/blue/purple fade with a crackle finish. So, yeah, I gave myself permission there!

All customs/US builds have been PLEK’ed since 3/2020. 2021 seems right for batch 3.

Great, I just traded a 2021 fender Ultra Lux for the 622, I can honestly say one of the best guitars I've ever played in my life, and I've owned over a hundred guitars,

I’d say don’t bother with the non-reverse headstock on the 622s. The reverse headstock is a signature Sully touch, IMO, and part of what makes the 622 so rad.

missed the live stream, but the daughter & I spent a month in Japan a few years ago. No plans, just winging it as activities took our interest. Couldn't speak the language at all. We got by just fine (and learnt some Japanese on the fly). Of course, if you need a handler, Ace (from the JCF) lives there ;)

I have a Trogdor shirt. And a Strongbad shirt. And a The Cheat window cling (still NIB, sealed in plastic!). I was a big fan. I pass it on to my children, my son loves playing through the Strongbad video games. So good.
