Never use wire fences for horses. Store hay off the ground when feeding it to horses!

Not my horses so not my decision. However the hay is stored on raised planks.

She's getting blood work in a couple of days and a test for worms. Unfortunately they suspect Cushing.

I mostly cuddle with them and sometimes see if they are in need of water or food. But they live at the barn and have people looking after them 🙂

i don't know why this has popped on my feed. but i have SOO many questions! 1. is hierarchy because she's old? and can it improve if she's older? 2. does hierarchy also mean no friends in the horse world? 3. a horse's language brain? you're speaking 2 languages, do they understand words, or your tone of voice with the actions? these are just a couple lol!

She has always been low on the totem pole, she isn't very assertive. She has a good friend, but unfortunately they are not in the same pasture right now. But the red mare sometimes spends time with her. She understands the tone of my voice more than the words. But she knows a lot of command words in Swedish. For instance if I want her to back up, I say backa.
