That looks fantastic! I have two tall bookcases that are particle/veneer. They were on the way to the trash island, but now I'm going to keep and paint. Thank you!

Not sure if your sound is any good. It is sped up and sounds like children arguing. So distracting.

Wow, that is just beautiful. I love how your cat just hangs around while you work. Ahhh, yes, the love and hate of stencil work - how do they have the ability get us to use them again and again, when we know how fussy they are, haha. I loved the tip with the back of the utility blade to clean up the overage spots on the stencil work. I have a question, because I couldn't see it on screen. What was the "spray glue" you used to help keep the stencil in place? It seemed to really help and yet still comes off when you wanted it to.

That was 2x speed and on purpose. To illustrate the thinking process. But also not a priority of the video since it was only a few seconds of it.

So, I've really been wanting to do a mother of pearl inla as well. I am going to try it with a navy background, but i still had to add some iridescent mica powder to this already iridescent paint to get it to stand out at all on the yest pieces. That's an idea, though, if you want to try it on a future piece. I still love the finish of this! I am trying to get a faux stone/concrete on a different piece so thanks so much for the helpful tips. Looks stunning!

That is so awesome! I made it a point to leave on my mishaps in an effort to empower others so they know it’s all trial and error sometimes. It’s the only way to get experience! So that’s awesome. I hope both projects work out for you!!!

I did not. This particular section doesn’t have a moisture barrier and HOUSTON is extremely humid so I wanted to let if breathe of it could.
