@@andygregory7719 it’s not far. Maybe 6 miles round trip. You need to hire a guide and you can get very close to Spider rock.

You are the epitome of "hike that trail"! I believe I have watched all your previous videos doing the 14'ers. While our family never did any 14'ers, we hiked a lot of trails around Gunnison, Creste Butte, RMNP, and other Colorado locations. Now, 2 of our 3 daughters live in Colorado and partake of all these beautiful hiking locations. Carry on! Good luck on your objective!

Southern Colorado usually has beautiful clear skies. I traveled this area many times about 50 years ago. However, I never climbed the Spanish Peaks. I did climb other mountains in the area looking for mule deer. Saw them but never got one.

I love GC in the winter, cuts down on the people. Weather in the canyon is magical. NK has incredible waterfalls during rainstorms but you have to be a brave r2r2r, going when North is closed and weather is “bad”, to ever see them. You have to be confident in your gear too, I’ve been in rain, snow, wind, warm, sunny with temps from 14F to 70F.. all on the same day. Sad to see all the empty campsites, people don’t know what they are missing.

You take the anxiety out of finding the trail. You are awesome. I enjoyed every minute of it, especially the G.O.A.T..... The other vids I've watched on this mountain are not equal to yours. You are patient, you find the correct path. You make it look, seem easy this way. I'm 75 yo, do you think I can do it too?
