That thing he plays is supposed to be a mellophone but he should just buy one that's made for marching. It would sound *much* better unless the problem here isn't the instrument ;)

Nice sound! I also like the silver plating (if that's what it is) - I haven't seen that on flugabones too much. Is this one a King 1130?

Yes, King 1130. It was overhauled and customized by Scott Sweeney of Sweeney Brass.

It is an E-flat alto horn in the shape of a sousaphone.
