There is a conflict between the powers, there is corruption and the new tax package will bring the highest tax rate in the world. The Brazilian currency is being torn apart and the government knows nothing about economics. Anyone who has money invested in Brazil should withdraw it as soon as possible.

The president of Brazil is a populist demagogue. He practically distributes tax payers' money to the less favored classes, who are exactly those who usually keep him in power. There is no heavy investment in infrastructure. Government invest poorly and when these bureaucrats do, it is in the wrong areas. We have a highly corrupt and stupid political class, which does not help at all in creating intelligent laws. Brazil has complicated and outdated legislation, which hinders the country's development. Cuts are being created in the sector (education) where there should be increased investment, never cuts. But this is the mentality of Brazilian rulers and politicians. We have the eighth most powerful economy in the world and research institutes state that 51% of the active working class in this country receives a minimum wage (R$ 1,412.00 or USD 221 per month). Prices in supermarkets are more expensive than what you find in the United Kingdom or the United States. The majority of the population is just surviving, it has always been that way and nothing changes in Brazil. And the worst thing is that this is not just the evil deeds of the current government, but it is repeated in any leader who comes to power in Brazil.

On February 18, 2024, right after Lula correctly compared the genocide in Gaza to the Holocaust, the Zionists (the real owners of the financial market) promised to take revenge on Brazil. Since then, the dollar has not stopped rising against the real and the stock market has not stopped falling. Coincidence?

Brazil’s economic elites often undermine the country with misguided ideologies, but foreign investors take advantage, profiting from its proven potential. When “Faria Lima” claims Brazil is struggling, it’s often the best time to invest and succeed. Trust the numbers, not the noise!
@otavioguimaraes57984 сағат бұрын
The numbers are record devaluation of our currency and interests rates in real terms close to 10%. The only "good numbers" are the unemployment rate which excludes 44 milions of people living off of social benefits and 4% growth of GPD achived by skyrocketing the public debt.

What is going on in Brazil is purely political. There are still a huge resentment from a undemocratic radical right wing that unfortunately control most of the financial system in Brazil. The economical fundamentals are quite good in Brazil. It have one of lower deficit among the g20 countries. Relative low unemployment growing gdb and a increase industrial and infrastructure investment. The Mark are using its power to overthrow the government again just like they done with Dilma.

Most argentinian companies are investing elsewhere. He is going to need more than a handlful of companies to invest in his economy. This is bound to fail. Stabilize inflation but grow poverty. People hate him and he is going to get bounced out next year. Inflation doesn't matter if you don't have a job.

I am AMAZED of how outsiders from Brazil just simply don't know the truth, and continue treating Lula as if he is some sort of 'normal' president: LULA IS A CRIMINAL! HE IS THE MOST CORRUPT LEADER OF A COUNTRY IN THE WORLD! He was in jail, condemned for corruption in 3 instances and had all chances for defense, and he still was condemned with irrefitable proofs. But then Bolsonaro was elected, who is the most honest and well-meaning politician and president we've had since... EVER. He is like Javier Milei and Trump: a no non-sense right-wing STATESMAN. He was the best president we had, left all state-owned companies in the blue (where they were almost bankrupt before, due to corruption), and even under the pandemic, made an amazing government. But the all-leftwing media in Brazil and abroad SPUN ALL SORTS OF ABSURD AND INFURIATING LIES ABOUT HIM. Then the supreme-court justices WHO WERE INDICATED BY LULA IN HIS FIRST 2 TERMS took Lula out of jail (invalidated the perfect valid judgement that condemned him), and coursed him to 'win' a very dubious election in 2022 against Bolsonaro (very much similar as to what happened in the american election of 2020). They MADE HIM president again. And he and his cohort of leftwing criminals are ruining the country, turning it into a Venezuela. Everybody here is saying: we are becoming a Venezuela: poverty is skyrocketing again, we will be bankrupt, and during Lula this year there was a RECORD-RECORD number of fires in the amazon and elsewhere (double or triple of anytime in Hystory). But the international (left-wing) media is ALL SILENT ABOUT THAT!

People make communities and bring life to areas. The type of people the developers want to bring in, cannot create “life”, culture, a cohesive community. They can’t do it because housing is too expensive and the type of people living there are too “up themselves” and snobby. A lot of people don’t like working or going there because the atmosphere is horrid. Stale, clinical and dull. It’s already got retail space, it’s nothing special. This is why they have to create events to try and get people to go there, because they’re competing with the West End, Covent Garden and now Battersea Power Station. Canary Wharf will limp on, but unless they change the type of companies and people (i.e. not bankers or lawyers), the area will still be a bit dead.

There are lots of inconsistencies in this report. The government deficit in Brazil in 2024 is half of that one in 2023. That other one also was high because of payments that the previous government (Bolsonaro) left undone (irregularly). The economy is now far better organized than 2 years ago, but there is a strong pressure from the financial market which received help from the former president of the Central Bank who was appointed by Bolsonaro. Fortunately he just finished his term. The new Central Bank just acted on the market and we had already partial recovery of the Real value. No new tax was created and, if it were not for the right wing majority in Congress, there would be lower taxes for the middle class. Politics...

????? Don't lie, first of all, Brazil has the highest tax burden in the world. The current "president" was not elected, but appointed. Therefore, he is illegitimate! Note: Luiz Inácio was sentenced to 13 years in prison for corruption...
