Great fly, I just found your channel a while back and have been watching. This looks like a great fly for many places not just Wales. I live in the U.S. in the great State of Maine. Most eastern point in the U.S. I do love it here. Would love to travel but it is not in my budget and won't be. All the best to you and thanks for sharing. Sean

Hi Niall. It really depends on the time of year, water temperature and also speed of the current. It can work from no retrieve if the water is fast through to a roly-poly in slow pools and warmer water.

Hi F Dig, thanks for watching and glad you liked the fly. In regards to the vice, by far the best I have found and the one I use is the HMH Spinner Tube Fly Vice. Nice bit of a kit and has never let me down.

Great fly - I am sure it would also work for the Danish sea trouts. I think I will try it this summer!
