Ahora que sabemos por el ADN que el genocidio de los tainos es falso, están empezando a decir que fue un genocidio cultural para seguir con la misma leyenda negra. Historians were wrong to believe Tainos disappeared. Recent dna studies found out that most 90 percent of Puerto Ricans have taino ancestors.

After Columbus and his people killed nearly 1.5 million of the indios in DR supposedly there’s about 4k natives that lived and the Spaniards mixed with the free slaves that were in DR. So if you want to say we claim more to be Indios than Africans, sure I mean look at my picture and you tell me if I look Indio or African, so is the rest of my Dominican people. We are dark skinned Indios for the most part. Sure we have blacks, whites and indios in DR but the grand majority are of indigenous descent, mixed with African and mostly European Spanish. I did a DNA test and yes I consist of 30% European Spanish, 11% indigenous to Hispaniola, 9% Portuguese8% west African (Cameroon, Benin & Togo) and the rest is made up of other places in Europe, west African and even South America which are all under 5% each. So yeah I do claim my indigenous background more than anything because it’s where my ancestors lived before being slaughtered, and forcing us to mix with the colonizers and the slaves who didn’t even have a choice.

Taino basically Indian in my opinion and prolly the same Indians that were also ran off the American lands we just the one that were on the island so they sparred us but the ones on America they killed really just look at the old Indian pics from American on those people then look at the old Puerto Rican pics before it got invaded it make sense or Iam just special education

Yeah we don't like the Spanish, My grand mother told tales of her Grandmother family having to sneak in to town late at night for salt and bread believe it or not, the Spanish had it all under control, They said a great Indian leader who refused to bow for the queen of spain chose to be stabbed in the heart killed by the Spanish, so we dont like the spanish but we live together after they conquering us alone side with the italians i have all 3 bloods in me...we learned to forgive the horrors of the past as we forgive the horrors in all past and not blame does now for the actions of the past ...Viva Puerto Rico

So why do we have to celebrate Columbus Day when Columbus pretty much is a serial killer he took from us he disgraced put us to shame and enslaved us why do we celebrate the thing that he is known to our people for doing on Columbus Day we get 50% off off merchandise we get a discount on a brand new car when he stole from our culture villains of gold meet us for I feel that we shouldn't be immigrants to the Americans that went through the same thing that we have went through through our whole life I feel that we should all be United as one meaning everybody in the Caribbean islands should be able to get all the benefits that the United States have because we are apart of the United States Bob Christopher Columbus should be erased from being a holiday holidays should be the day that we became free from the Europeans Christopher Columbus was not a good person for the people he came with
