i completely slide off the thread going around the ball, leaving it in one-piece, then I start rewinding it back from the ball end...works much faster for my sanity.

I had to figure that out on my own years ago because I could never get it tight enough. Thank you for sharing this tip with needle tatters. They need it. 👍👏👁️‍🗨️

This is my favorite shuttle !!!! I love all of your shuttles. This one is just perfect for split rings. I adore the tip. Perfect for joining but not an obstacle.

Very interesting. I have always used a needle for tatting. But this video shows how to use a shuttle like I have never seen. Great way for teaching shuttle work.

Not you fault, but this is a most inefficient way of finding the beginning of the thread, the manufacturer needs to add a small loop to the end for easy access. I believe that is a simple solution. Thank you for showing how you do it though, it was helpful.

The end was on the opposite side of where I pulled the first thread off, so I had to unwind and rewind every single bit of the thread, after untangling a nightmare of knots. Thanks for nothing.

I just found these on the Handy Hands site. Thanks for the video! I can’t wait to get my hands on one. I love the ease and versatility of the bobbin in the Aerlit, but prefer the size and post of the Moonlit because I use beads the majority of the time. What a perfect combination!!!!!!
