@@peterdrew2044 It keeps cracking once a year due to foundation movement and big cracks appearing on the wall . So it's a good project for us at the moment 🙂

Did you glue it down? If not what's the purpose of the silicone on the bottom of the skirting if its floating floor and it moves? Mastic will simply break over time! Correct me if I'm wrong.

@jakubpawlowski5502 You can still Selicone the glue down one and the floating one. Certainly, we have been doing it by our knowledge and manufacturers advice too. It's been years since we have done many projects like that, and t no gap or break accured . Thanks

How much shorter is the width of the underlay/gripper compared to the width of the runner? Or is the underlay and grippe the same width as the runner?

Bespoke Flooring is right .if the flooring board underneath is so uneven nail won't hold the plywood down due to pressure and it would squick later on . So it's best to f3 it down those areas Well done Bespoke Flooring
