I hate work orders. Why does Blizz want me to spam trade chat in a city all day? I would rather sell stuff on the AH. Let crafters make a base item and sell it on the AH. Let people slot in their own crests and sparks

With Panda Remix and new expansion what changes would you make if any?

Allow me to summarize some of your points…. It’s too dang complicated, unnecessarily so… they still have unnecessary tools and ranks, which only complicates the ability to determine profitability… in all my guilds, most are just like you, the complicated profession system just caused folks to not do professions… thus increasing the purchase of wow tokens creating a pay to play system

Finally an influencer who actually knows what the player base needs in an economy

11 characters, 8 transmutation alchemists. Cut the gems for max profit. Craft 50 glyphs daily to post with gems. Making about 5k daily with minimal upkeep. The more alts you have the more you’ll make. Btw you only need to be level 65 to level up your professions to 450 which is why I have so many alchemists for transmutes.

What is weird for me is that everyone knows that bots exist, (almost) everyone knows the names of the bots (most of us are reporting these bots everyday), (almost) everyone knows what those bots are doing... EXCEPT Blizzard. Blizz doing nothing about bots is just mindblowing!! What the f......?!??! We all just pray for Blizz to do something about it.. We pay for this friggin game to play with bots?!?!? WTF

Dragonflight killed professions for me. I’m not interested in setting up a profession business to make mega profit. In the past I loved professions, that RPG fantasy of going out into the world, harvesting some materials and making myself some new gear. And gradually improving skill level to unlock new & better items to make. In DF I had patterns for some great looking gear that I could only make for others and not myself due to limited number of sparks.

awesome to see you got alpha! i got a few questions id like to have tested: 1: is the alch cooldowns a stacking thing like in DF or did they go back to 1 daily and no stacking? 2: How many First crafts give exp? 3: Do we still have mettle? 4: is worktables still a thing? 5: can you explore how the consentration works? (is it like a daily craft cooldown to garentee tier 5?) 6: do we have elemental crafting materials again akin to awakened X? Thank you <3

I've had my fair share of looks into all the profession stuff and i'm excited to see more, especially with the 2 new profession stats coming. I do hope we don't get a brand new slate of stuff for the expansion launch and then barely anything before the next expansion like what we saw in dragonflight tho

Hey Samadan! Yh I felt the same with Dragonflight proffessions, It could have been really good but just wasnt developed, and work orders felt off for me. Wasnt a fan of region wide ah either, which, as a mostly a mat farmer is a bit strange. I did enjoy maxing out my druids herb/mining early on but the mat prices died so so quickly. Dont even get me started on skinning, group farms I also dislike a lot. Most of my gold came from raw gold from world quests and dragonriding. Then I went on a break half way through the expac. Coming back now, for season 4 and Pandaria Remix. Ive decided to become a collector instead, mounts pets transmogs and All The Things. If I do get the passion back for goldmaking I think Id do it in Cata myself, but will always keep an eye on the gold making scene.

Hi Samadan, lovely to see you back. I have carried on getting knowledge points even though I have maxxed out the trees. Are you able to see if this stockpile of points will allow us to get a jump start on new trees? Or do we lose them? I am the of the same opinion as you in terms of wanting to engage with the new professions and how they reIate to goIdmaking =(

Damn was hoping they would do away with this knowledge point system. That or let it just build up each week so that if we take a break we don't come back a million miles behind!

I always felt "left behind" in all professions in previous expansions, never being able to figure out how to make a profit. With Dragonflight I made at least 2,000,000g profit just by opportunistically stopping by the craft tables whenever I was back in Valdrakken. I never once said a word in Trade Chat. It was all work orders. No offense, but watching you and other people spending hours and hours in TSM and such, babysitting the Auction House is way, WAY more work than I would enjoy or would be willing to do. Dragonflight's crafting and work order systems are a massive improvement for someone like me.

the concentration must be a warband feature as well for each profession. For example 10 points for alchemy for no matter how many alts with that profession you have and etc

100% agree with you and feel how you felt with dragonflight professions. I made almost all my gold in his xpac from things not related to dragonflight. (Besides zone BoEs, those sold very well!)

Im in the same boat, mostly. Dramatically reducing my roster, and just getting all the enjoyment of the story, the delvs. the professions, and the follower dungeons that i can. Im usually a pvp enjoyer as well, but hero talents for certain specs seem to be absolutely unwieldy and i do not have faith they will be able to rework them by the time it launches.
