why the philippinese people are parading and celebrating for independence when philippines is not even considered a genuinely sovereign country? let alone doing it in a country where they are highly depending for economic and military support, it is awkwardly humiliating to boast a freedom that has never been earned, these people need to be ashamed.

It looks more like a commercial parade where are the big couture and bands this parade cage in the 2000, I was in st.Lucia for carnival the costume and band was out of this world took me back to my childhood, this parade is not making sense time to shut in down and move on 🇱🇨🇺🇸

I strongly prefer this event to be referred to as the Caribbean Day Parade as opposed to West Indian, since the latter makes me mistake it with INDIA 🇮🇳
