Damn I only just stumbled upon this after all these years. I loved the original State of Play videos. They led me to discover Jonathan Blow for example which I'm still really thankful for.

This was excellent, especially from 55:00 onwards. It all felt especially applicable to the games industry even now.

You guys made this sound like The Worst Interview Ever. It was completely fine, calm down. And don't leave it on the table because of the comments, as I almost did.

Interviewer has an impressive ability to get antisocial developers comfortable enough to just talk relatably with little to no intervention or questions.

Great interview and great insight! And now we know, as the creators of Pandemic L Season 2, intended for March and April to be "this moment of despair", so is the CoVID19 case. Get through March and April, things will get better!

very cool guy, I remember when I was growing up in a catholic family on one side, and not on the other. I remember being hidden when the priest would turn up to the house. Too young to know why I'm being told to hide in a cupboard, but ya know....

Fan of team meat here. Honest passionate dudes. But i wonder if their love for nintendo would be put under questioning after nintendo recent legal pursuit over roms emulator websites that have existed for decades, and now because they have the turd of a switch, they found a easy way to sell their old stuff again, make a buck. I liked nitendo too, but this is horsecrap. Videogames, like any artform, should be about inovating all the time, and not sleep on the backbone of whats been done already. Its lame and mellow.

The amount of work it must have taken to have all the items in The Binding of Isaac, synergise, must have been tremendous To release DLC twice (!) was incredibly ambitious. They've done stuff people at the Game Developers Conference merely talk about,, as long term goals (in terms of connectivity)
