Most of us (common folk) see a Paternity Test similarly to a Corporation undergoing a FTC or SEC audit to record and archive the true activities and disposition of a company. Question: Can a CEO or member of the Board of Directors withhold consent for said audit? The shareholders and investors have a right to know. Right? The same argument can be made for the major investor to the family unit. Usually the named father, whether if voluntarily or involuntarily by court order.

I married this woman and she had 3 kids. Her X never paid a dime in CS. I was paying my CS on my 3 kids. She goes down and files to have CS force him to pay and I get a letter in the mail stating that since I am married to her, I must now pay CS on her kids. The CSEA reasoning was that I would benefit if the dad of her 3 kids started to pay his CS. They were trying to get me to pay CS on kids that I was supporting in the home. CSE is 100% illegal. Did you consent to pay the CSEA. I didn't but yet if I don't pay they will put me in prison and there is no valid contract between me and the state or the mother.

An affidavit of paternity has nothing to do with determining if a man is the Father but it is a contract for a support order!

There are a lot of things that this video does not address. First in a lot of states an unmarried father that signs a birth certificate does not have legal rights to the child. Only through court ordered paternity test is the unmarried father given rights to his child. I live in Wisconsin. I signed the birth Cert the day my son was born. Because my ex and I were never married I had no rights to my child until I filed for paternity through the state of Wisconsin. Secondly, in the time before my ex was served she could and did keep my son from me. There is also nothing preventing her from leaving the state until she is served with the Paternity order. This is common in a lot of states. In Wisconsin if you are married you are automatically granted legal rights to your child without having to prove paternity. If you are unmarried a birth certificate means nothing. You are given no rights to the child until court ordered paternity has been established. Lastly, a woman can file child support against an unmarried father without having to prove paternity. In my case my ex withheld my son and after talking to my lawyer about it, all she said was make sure you do not withhold your son from her. She made all the calls for months while I waited for my paternity hearing even though she was not a good mother (abusive and a drunk). I would like to see a video that focuses solely on unmarried father's rights.

Funny how you had no parental right EXCEPT when it came to money.....yeah, again, funny how that works. You don't get to see your kid, you don't get any say....but don't you DARE be late with that child support check. I would LOVE to see the politicians and courts have to address this in an open forum with the public watching. It goes right along with what I said in a previous comment. A DNA test can get you out of prison but it might not get you out of child support. The inconsistency in our laws and the treatment of each gender is staggering.

Dr Phil did a program on a guy who's girlfriend gave his daughter up for adoption without telling him. They weren't married (obviously) and the girlfriend unilaterally made the decision to give the child up. Where are the father's rights then? Is it because she knew that if he wanted the child SHE would have to pay him child support??? That door is supposed to swing both ways. Women can have an abortion, they can give the child up for adoption, they can drop the child off at an ER, Fire Station, or Police Dept. What options does a father have if he's not married to the mother? Pay, or go to jail....and that's pretty much it. Doesn't sound all that "equal" to me......I'm sure the feminists will get right on this issue though. Let's all initiate a breath hold while we wait....it shouldn't take too long because of how "unequal" this situation is.....

What if you married you sign the birth certificate and you're not the biological father are you still obligated to have to pay child support. Would have DNA help you because it didn't help Brad Pitt...
@bettyjohnson48756 жыл бұрын
Yes they are still obligated. Each state has different laws but they all are against the man. If his wife cheated and a baby resulted from that affair abd her husband gets a DNA test done and it shows he's not the real father...... Court will say he still has to pay! Sad! These laws need to be changed.
@tidefanyankee24285 жыл бұрын
@@bettyjohnson4875 Yep, now consider the utter absurdity of a legal system where a DNA test can get you out of prison, or even off of death row because the state found out it had the wrong person.....but that same test may not get you out of child support for the very same reasons. Ponder that one..... Our laws are inconsistent. I would further add that the mother perpetuated a fraud on her husband in these cases. But you see....the state doesn't care. They want someone to pay so they make the most obvious guy the patsy...... I've read about cases where the husband divorced the mother because he knew the kid wasn't his, the bio-dad moved in with the mom and the ex-husband still had to pay for the kid. Then, if the bio-dad and the mom divorce bio-dad sues for visitation and uses a DNA test as the grounds. Again, ponder that......all while the ex-husband is on the hook for child support. Where are the "equality minded" feminists when this is all going on???? The silence from them is deafening, because to fix this wouldn't be to a woman's advantage and they are pretty much only about having an advantage.

If you are her husband, you are automatically the legal father. Even if you got castrated because of cancer, you still are presumed to be the legal father by default. Even if she admits to cheating on you and physical features make it immediately obvious that her paramour is the father, instead of you.
