hi man thanks for the video was great. how did you remove the plastic covers from the motorcycle? I have a Tiger 900 GT Pro and will be running a cable to power a GPS device. Any suggetions for it would be much appreciated.

Take off the seat, you will see 2 bolts each side on the plastic fairing, remove, then pull each one backwards. Gently. Else use a wire to route your cable under the tank, follow the frame tubes.

Hello, mate Canadian dude here, I see that you’re still answering questions here I think it’s awesome, What was the indication that it was the seal in the first place? My coolant was empty when I inspected it after it had been stored. Just from the remnants of the fluid it appears around the water pump is where it was coming from.

@@StanTheMan-us3tp two clear signs: either oil or coolant weeping from the little hole at the bottom of the pump enclosure. It can also occur that coolant mixes with oil in the sump. If you got a baseplate you will see liquid after a short ride once the engine has warmed up

Well being the last owner kind of forced it. Grease has a limited lifetime. 5 years is pushing it. Also a great way to tell if it has wheelie d hard

Foam seat: take it to an upholsterer, they can re-stuff it. Tailight: Any LED bulb will do.

If you turn the fork leg upside down and push down hard as you crack the bottom bolt it really helps. You didn’t cover purging the air out after filling with oil. It’s a really important step

What's your recommend if the seal choose hard mode? I found a very tiny screw driver that I been hammer the corners to make a crease to pull from and it's still choosing hard

Pour fuel over the engine, ignite it. Once the fairings run like water the seal should be soft enough to extract with a pair of dentures. Your plan is sound. Use needle nose pliers

Rear Shock: extra weight is handled easier, feels easier, less of a push when braking. Front: A slight improvement off road, more plush, braking on road is slightly better. Not the black and white difference one hopes with aftermarket, BUT I found it to be worthwhile. Even if it's just because of the different weight oil or the oil flush.

Not at all. Just cleaned everything with paraffin and removed the plastic swingarm protector. If I recall correctly....
